Computer Based Test (CBT)
The candidates appearing for the CBT need to qualify it as per the qualifying standards given by the board. On the basis of the merit obtained in the test, the candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test. How to Check the Result?
To check the result, the candidates need to go through the following steps as mentioned below:
Step 1: The candidates will have to visit the official website of ASRB i.e asrb.org.in and ICAR i.e. icar.org.in.
Step 2: Next, the candidates need to search for the link ‘ASRB Stenographer and LDC Grade III Result 2017’ and click on it.
Step 3: Now, the candidates will be directed to next page where they will have to enter the required details to check the result.
Step 4: After the entering the details, the candidates will be able to check their marks obtained in the examination.

Qualifying Marks for the Written Examination
The candidates are required to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination (CBT) in order to be selected for the next stage of the selection process. The qualifying marks prescribed by the board is as follows:

In case if more than one candidate will obtain equal aggregate marks in the written examination, the tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:
- Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appear.
After qualifying the written examination, the candidates will be called for the skill test which will be conducted in both Hindi and English. The result for the skill will be considered as the final result for the recruitment process. It will be uploaded on the official website of ASRB and ICAR as per the scheduled dates. The candidates who will qualify the skill test as per minimum prescribed standards will be arranged in order of merit as per marks secured in the Written Test (CBT) for the respective opted unit viz ICAR HQ/Institute/KVK etc. and will be recommended for appointment by the ASRB on the basis of their merit in the Written Examination (CBT) for the respective unit. The appointment will be recommended for only one unit which occupies the highest position in the priority/option given by the candidate.
