- Mode of exam: Offline
- Duration of exam: 2 hours and 30 minutes for each paper
- Type of questions: The examination will be conducted in multiple choice question(MCQ) format.

About Exam
Assam High School TET Exam is a statewide exam conducted every year by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (Assam) along with the state government of Assam. The exam syllabus of Assam TET is available at the official website of Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan at : ssa.assam.gov.in. Assam TET Exam is conducted to recruit teachers for lower primary level (classes I to V) and upper primary level (classes VI to VIII) classes in various schools within Assam. The examination will be held in two stages namely Paper I and Paper II.
