Let us look at the statistic of the TET exam from the past years.
The last time TET exam was held was in the year 2011 December and after a really long wait, the results were announced. According to Education Minister P.K Shahi, an estimate of 26.79 lakh had applied for the exam and the candidates who were declared successful would come around to 60,730 in figures for the classes up to 1st to 5th and for the classes the number stood at 87,254 in numbers. However, there were also students whose result could not be announced for the reason that the OMR sheets were missing. The results of the 19,024 students was withheld for this reason in when the results were announced on the website. Thereafter the result was taken under the scrutiny by the Examination board and the result of the remaining students was also announced on 15th April 2015.
This year, since the exam is being conducted after a long time, it can be expected that more than 30 lakh students will apply in 2017. The exact figures will be released later. You can stay connected to us to learn about indepth details.
