Bank of Baroda SO 2019 Application Form
Bank of Baroda release the notification for online application form for the post of Specialist Officer (IT). Candidates are advised to fill the online application form before the last date as per the schedule. Below details regarding online application form is given. It is mandatory to fill the online application form correctly and one should cross-check the submitted information like personal details, academic details and such other things before final submission.
Application Form: The application is now available and the interested can fill the same through the ibps online portal. On that portal you need to register yourself by submitting the basic details like- Applicant’s full name, mobile number & need to provide an valid email id for further communication. It is mandatory to fill all the fields correctly and should cross-check once again before the final submission.
Application Procedure in simple steps: Basic Information-> Upload Photo & Signature-> Submit academic & other details-> Preview your online application before final submission-> Then make payment.
Application Fee: It is mandatory to pay the prescribed application fee in order to complete the registration and online application form process. All the applicants should note that the application fee is non-refundable & non-transferable under any circumstances. The application fee varies as per the category, for the applicants who comes under ST/SC/PwD and Gen/EWS/OBC category need to pay ₹100 & ₹600 respectively with extra taxes.
Mode of Payment: All the interested candidates need to pay the prescribed application form fee via “Online” mode only. The conducting body will not accept any kind of DD/cash deposit and extra such things.
Need to Upload: It is required to upload the scanned image of the signature, recent color passport size photograph at the time filling the online application form. All the required data must be uploaded as per the instructions.
Eligibility Criteria
In total there are 35 vacant posts for 16 different posts under Specialist Officers post (IT). It is required to hold a minimum qualification by each applicant or candidate in order to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the recruitment of Specialist Officer post under Information Technology department, which as follows:

Pay Scale- The pay scale for the SO (IT) post is as per the MMG/S II – ₹ 31705 x 1145 (1) – 32850 x 1310(10) – 45950 MMG/S III – ₹ 42020 x 1310 (5) – 48570 x 1460 (2) – 51490.
Job Title- Specialist Officer (IT).
Job Location/Posting- Candidates must note that the job location or the posting of the eligible and qualified candidates is entirely depends upon the Bank of Baroda’s requirement and as per the suitability of the candidates profile. The place of posting is depends upon the bank and subject to change and modify. But the two locations were fixed by the Bank in the matter of posting which is Mumbai/Hyderabad.
Probation Period: The selected candidate will be on probation for a period of 12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of his/her joining.
Service Bond: For those selected on the Regular basis, they will be required to mandatory execute a Service Bond as under: After joining the employees of the Bank of Baroda need to serve for a minimum period of 3 years in the bank after joining the services or in lieu thereof an amount of ₹1.5 Lacs.
Emoluments/Job Perks- For those selected under Regular basis – At present, initial monthly CTC at the initial level of Middle Management Grade/ Scale II & Scale III, including DA, Special Allowance, HRA, CCA and all perks and benefits like quarters facility, in lieu of HRA, for Officers; Conveyance; Medical Aid; LTC; etc. admissible as per rules of the Bank, in force from time to time approx ₹84,000 and ₹1,00,000 per month respectively in a metropolitan city/center. All the allowances is entirely based upon the place of posting and may vary.
Exam Pattern
It is mandatory to appear in the online test conducted by the conducting body at various online test centers. Candidates must know the structure of the online examination in order to prepare according for the online examination, which are as follows:

Group Discussion (GD)/Personal Interview (PI)/Psychometric Test:
Candidates are required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score in the online test to be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment/Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment/GD & PI depending on the number of vacancies, cut-off in each test and total marks secured in the online test as decided by the Bank.
Note: The minimum qualifying marks in order to participate in GD/PI is 60% for General Category and 55% for Reserved Category.
Marking Scheme- Candidates must note that there is a fixed marking scheme by the examination or test conducting body, there will be negative marking or a penalty for each wrong answer marked by the candidates in the objective type questions, the marking pattern or the marking scheme is as follows:
- For every correct answer +1 will be awarded.
- For every wrong answer 0.25 will be deducted.
- And for every unanswered or a question is left blank there will be no penalty or deductions.
BOB SO Admit Card/Call letter 2019
Candidates will be able to download the admit card or call letter for online test and GD/Interview respectively from the official the bank (bankofbaroda.in). In order to download the admit card or the call letter candidates need to enter his/her login details i.e user id & password. Candidates must note that no separate hard copy will be send by post to the candidates, the downloaded copy must be preserved by the candidates for future references. The conducting body will send notification regarding the availability of admit card or the call letter as per the events and schedule via sms or emails. List of Documents
It is mandatory to submit or to produce the following listed documents selection of the eligible and qualified candidates for the post of Specialist IT Officer 2019, which are as follows:
- Print out of the Group Discussion/Interview call letter as per the schedule.
- System generated valid online application form.
- Proof of date of birth (DOB) i.e any municipal issued certificate or class 10th/SSLC certificate with visible DOB.
- Individual year/semester wise mark sheet including recognized and valid diploma & degree certificate.
- Category or the caste certificate if applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC category candidates issued by the Government of India or any related authority.

Selection Procedure
The selection process comprises of an online test, for the post of Scale I, in the discipline of Sales, followed by GD/Interview of the shortlisted candidates.
For the posts in Scale-II, Scale-III, Scale-IV & Scale-V applications were shortlisted and candidates were then been called for GD/interview. However, for Scale-II and Scale-III, if the number of eligible applications received is large, then Bank reserves the right to hold an online test also.
The final selection of the eligible & qualified for the Bank of Baroda Specialist IT Officer will be done on the basis of following:
