BPSC 67th CCE Syllabus 2022: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts the Bihar State Level Exams and has notified the syllabus for 67th Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) on its official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. The authorities have announced a total of 729 vacancies in various posts for different departments of the Bihar Government. BPSC CCE is conducted in three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview to recruit the interested candidates. BPSC 67th CCE Syllabus 2022

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) in three stages namely; Preliminary, Mains and Interview round. The candidates can get the details about the syllabus for all the stages below.

Preliminary Exam

The preliminary exam for BPSC 67th CCE consists of 150 questions for a total of 150 marks with no negative markings. The marks of this exam will not be added for the selection. The complete syllabus for the preliminary exam of BPSC 67th CCE is given below.

Mains Exam

The mains exam is conducted after the preliminary exam is over. The candidates who successfully qualify for the minimum cut-off of the preliminary exam can appear for the mains. The qualifying paper for the BPSC CCE mains exam is General Hindi. General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 is also conducted which carries 300 marks each. There is also an optional paper that is conducted in which candidates have to select the subject earlier while filling the form. All the detailed syllabus for BPSC CCE Mains Exam is given below.

The questions for General Hindi will be of a secondary level. The candidates are required to score minimum 30% marks in this section in order to qualify for the next subjects. The distribution of marks with respect to the topics is given below.

  • General Studies Paper 1

The general studies paper 1 will consist of the following topics

  1. Modern History of India and Indian Culture
  2. Current events of national and international importance
  3. Statistical analysis, graphs and diagrams
  • General Studies Paper 2

The general studies paper 2 consists of the following topics.

  1. Bihar and Indian Polity
  2. Indin and Bihar Economy
  3. Bihar and Indian Geography
  4. Role and Impact of Science and Technology in the development of India and Bihar.
  • Optional Paper

Every candidate is required to choose one optional subject for this exam while filling the application form. The subjects for this optional paper are given in the syllabus PDF released by the authorities.

  1. The BPSC CCE will be in both Hindi and English Languages.
  2. The candidates have to write the answers on their own in the exam and will not be allowed to take help from anyone.
  3. The scores will be provided on the basis of marks obtained in General Studies paper 1 and 2 and Optional Paper.

BPSC CCE Interview

The candidates who qualify for the mains exam are called for the interview round which is stage three of the BPSC CCE. They will be interviewed by the panel appointed by the authorities. Candidates qualifying this round will be recruited to the different posts of departments in the Bihar Government. The interview is taken with the purpose to examine the candidate’s personality according to the career in state services.

About CCE

The Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) is conducted every year for the recruitment of interested candidates in the different departments of the Bihar Government. The conducting body of this exam is Bihar Public Services Commission (BPSC). The eligibility criteria for BPSC 67th CCE is that the candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. The minimum age of candidates for applying should be 20 years and the maximum should be 37 years.
