DDA Recruitment 2016 Online Application Form
On its official website dda.org.in, the application form for DDA Delhi Recruitment 2016 was available as per schedule. After determining eligibility for the advertised posts that candidate is interested, application form could be filled and submitted online.
It should be kept in mind that only those who applied in prescribed format before the last date were able to appear in the exam. Also that it is the responsibility the of candidate to ensure eligibility. Deputy Director (Public Relation)
- PG Diploma or Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication/Public Relation/Advertisement or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute.
- 06 years Journalism experience in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/News Agency(Print or Electronic media) of repute or equivalent, the experience of publicity and public relation work in a Govt. Department or Commercial Publicity Organisation of repute.
Deputy Director (Planning)
- Essential –
- Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture/Civil/Municipal Engineering or Master Degree in Geography/Sociology/Economics from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
- Post graduation in Planning with specialization in any of the field of Town/City/Urban/Housing/Transport/ Environmental Planning from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
- At least 05 years experience in a planning office in development authority or local body or in a Government Undertaking.
- Desirable –
- Degree/Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS)/GeoInformatics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners (India)
Assistant Director (Planning)
- Essential –
- Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Architecture/Civil/Municipal Engineering or Master Degree in Geography/Sociology/Economics from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.

Legal Assistant
- Possessing Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent; and 03 years’ experience at Bar.
- For DDA Employee – Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent and 03 years of regular service in DDA. The selection will be made through open competitive examination for direct recruitment
Assistant Section Officer (ASO) (Erstwhile Assistant)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from any recognized University.
- Computer Proficiency.
Sectional Officer (Horticulture)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from a University/Institute recognised by Central Government /State Government or equivalent qualification.
Junior Engineer (Elect./Mech.)
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a University/Institute recognised by Central Government or State Government or equivalent qualification.
Junior Translator (Official Language) (Erstwhile Junior Hindi Translator)
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the Degree Level. Or
- Master’s Degree from recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level and
- Recognized Diploma/Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government offices / Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous bodies.
Stenographer Grade ‘D’
- 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University.
- Skill Test Norms:
- Dictation : 10 min at the speed of 80 w.p.m

- Desirable : Preference to be given to such persons who have acquired Diploma in Office Management & Secretarial Practice from any recognized institution.
Patwari
- Essential : Graduate from any recognized University or equivalent there of
- Desirable –
- Proficiency in the computer.
- Working knowledge of Urdu/Hindi.
Note : Training shall be imparted to the new incumbents by the department and probation shall be lifted only on successful completion of the training.
DDA Admit Card
It is a usual norm that admit card is released for each stage of selection. Admit card was available online for the stage I and II. Admit card was available for DDA Recruitment 2016-18 for the posts of Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Assistant Accounts Officer, Legal Assistant, Assistant Section Officer, SO, Junior Engineer, Junior Hindi Translator, Stenographer, Patwari.

Penalty for wrong answers: Candidates should note that in order to discourage the guess work, in all such cases where the question is of 01 marks there was the penalty of 0.33 (negative marking) for wrong answers / multiple answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers having four alternatives.

The Answer keys for the DDA Recruitment 2016 – 2018 for Group A, B, C has been released for Stage-I and Stage-II. Candidates can calculate their final score based on the Answer key. Candidates should concern the official answer keys only, answer keys through other sources may be misleading.
