Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2018 – Interview Schedule, Get Admit Card, Official Notice Here

Delhi High Court has released the admit card for the interview/viva voice. The Interview/Viva Voice of Delhi Higher Judicial Service Examination-2017 is scheduled on October 17, 2020. Earlier, the list of eligible candidates on the basis of performance in ‘Preliminary (Objective) and Main (Descriptive) exams of Delhi Higher Judicial Service Examination – 2017 held on 20th May 2018, and 4th & 5th November 2018 has been released. These candidates have been provisionally found eligible to be called for viva-voce. A detailed result of all the 107 candidates is available on the website of Delhi High Court. The total number of vacancies including unreserved and reserved categories is 11. Candidates seeking Government jobs in Delhi could apply for this recruitment. Schedule of Interview/Viva Voce of Delhi Higher Judicial Service Examination-2017

Delhi High Court has released the Schedule of Interview/Viva Voce of Delhi Higher Judicial Service Examination-2017 at the official website. The admit card for the same can be downloaded from the website from September 30, 2020 onwards. For the detailed schedule, candidates can refer to the image below:

Pay Scale: Rs. 51550-1230-58930-1380-63070 plus allowances as are admissible to officers
working under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Age Limit (01.01.2017):  a person who has attained the age of 35 years but has not attained the age of 45 years.

Educational Qualifications:  a person who has practised as an Advocate for not less than 7 years.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate shall be eligible to appear in the examination if he / she is.

  • a citizen of India
  • a person who has practised as an Advocate for not less than 7 years.
  • a person who has attained the age of 35 years but has not attained the age of 45 years as on 1st January 2017.

Note: If on verification at any time before or after the Preliminary (Objective) Examination, Main (Descriptive) Examination and the Viva voce, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.

Application Form

The candidates shall submit their applications online only in the prescribed format through the official website of High Court of Delhi i.e. delhihighcourt.nic.in . The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. The candidates can take printout of Application and keep it for future reference. They need not send the print out of the online application to the High Court.

Application Fee

The fees (non-refundable) in the sum of· Rs.1000/- for General Category candidates and Rs.200/- for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Physically Handicapped (Blind / Low vision) (mobility not to be restricted) candidates should be paid through Debit Card/Internet Banking.

Preliminary (Objective) Examination

The Syllabus for the Preliminary (Objective) Examination shall be as follows:­

  • Current Affairs
  • English Language and topics on Constitution of India
  • Evidence Act, Limitation Act
  • Code of Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure Code
  • Indian Penal Code, Contract Act
  • Partnership Act
  • Arbitration Law
  • Specific Relief Act
  • Hindu Marriage Act
  • Succession Law
  • Transfer of Property Act
  • Sale of Goods Act and Negotiable Instruments Act.

Main (Descriptive) Examination

The Syllabus for the Main (Descriptive) Examination shall be as follows:­

Admit Card

The Admit Card for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2018 released after the successful completion of Application Form. The Admit Card was available at the official website of Delhi High Court few days before the commencement of Preliminary Exam. Candidate must download the Admit Card before the last date. Candidate must take print out of their Admit Card for the exam point of view. Candidate must carry that print out Admit Card at the exam center. Candidate without Admit Card will not be allowed to take admission in the Exam center.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be held in three stages given below.

  • Preliminary Exam
    Delhi Higher Judicial Service Preliminary Examination (objective type with 25% negative marking) for selection to the main examination.
  • Main Exam
    Delhi Higher Judicial Service Main Examination (Descriptive) to select the candidates for Viva voce.
  • Viva voce
    Final Selection of candidates for the recruitment.

Result

The Result for Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2018 has been released after the successful completion of Exam which held on May 20, 2018. The Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam Result has been declared online at the official website of Delhi High Court. The Final Result of Exam will disclose the names of candidates who will be selected for this recruitment. When the Result will be declared, it will be updated at the “Result” page.
