Name of the Posts –Junior Judicial Assistant/ Restorer (Group ‘C’)  and Court Attendant (Group ‘C’), Room Attendant (Group ‘C’)

Education Qualification –Matriculation pass/Graduate from a recognized University and having minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English Typing on Computer

Age Limit–Age should not be below 18 years and over 27 years as on 01 jan 2017.

Selection Process – Candidates will be selected on the basis of  Examination Conducted by the delhi high court.

Application Fee – 

  • General/OBC : Rs. 300/-
  • SC/ST/Person with Disabilities/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates : Exempted.

Application fee is required to be remitted online only. Any other instrument of payment is not acceptable. Please make sure to correctly mention the Transaction number, Date/Time and Bank of which remittance is made in your application form for reconciliation. The application fee is non-refundable.

  2. First time user shall click on the login to apply link and fill the details correctly as mentioned and upload your documents as per desired format only and submit it.
  3. Once a candidate clicks on button for making the payment, they will be redirect to the Payment gateway site. There are various options available for payment like Debit/Credit Cards/Internet Banking.
  4.  Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.

Delhi High Court Group C Recruitment 2017 – attendant, Junior Judicial Assistant / Restorer Eligibility Criteria

Junior Judicial Assistant/ Restorer (Group ‘C’)
Graduate from a recognized University and having minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English Typing on Computer

Court Attendant (Group ‘C’) and Room Attendant (Group ‘C’) –
Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate from a recognized Institute.

Age Relaxation –

Age should not be below 18 years and over 27 years as on 01.01.2017 (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.1999). The upper age limit for members of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes shall be 32 years and for Other Backward Classes 30 years. The upper age limit for persons with disability and have a minimum of 40% of physical defect or deformity, shall be relaxable by 10 years (13 years for OBC & 15 years for SC/ST). For Ex-servicemen, there is a relaxation of 3 years for Unreserved/General candidates, 6 years for OBC and 8 years for SC/ST after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on 01.01.2017 subject to maximum age of 50 years. There shall be no upper age limit for persons serving in this Court and the Courts subordinate to it. The relaxation in upper age limit will not be applicable to the candidates who are working in other Govt. Departments/Public Sector Undertakings etc.

Delhi High Court Group C Recruitment 2017 – Attendent, Junior Judicial Assistant / Restorer Admit Card

On the basis of information given in the Online Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download admit card from the admit card link.Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.

Written Exam Details

Junior Judicial Assistant/ Restorer (Group ‘C’)
Eligible candidates will be required to appear in a written test of two hours based on Multiple Choice Question pattern in English consisting of
(I) Language Comprehension
(II) General Awareness
(III) General Mathematics
(IV) Reasoning Ability,
carrying a weightage of 180 marks.

There shall be 25% negative marking for each wrong answer. Those candidates who qualify in the written test shall be required to appear in comprehension/essay writing test (of 50 marks) and those who qualify the same shall be called for typing test in English on Computer of a duration of 10 minutes at the speed of 40 w.p.m.. The candidates who qualify the typing test will be called for interview. Candidates with knowledge of operating Computer would be given weightage. Final merit of successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of their performance in all examinations viz. objective type, comprehension/ essay writing test & interview.

Court Attendant (Group ‘C’) and Room Attendant (Group ‘C’)
Eligible candidates will be required to appear in a written test of two and a half hours based on Multiple Choice Question pattern in English consisting of
(I) Hindi
(II) English
(III) General Knowledge
(IV) Arithmetic,
carrying a weightage of 100 marks.

There shall be 25% negative marking for each wrong answer. Such number of candidates who qualify in the written test, shall be required to appear for interview subject to the condition that the candidates to be shortlisted for interview shall not be more than five times the total number of vacancies available in each category. Final merit of successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of their performance in written test & interview. Preference will be given to those who have the specialized experience/knowledge in cooking/carpentry/electrician job/driving (with a valid driving licence) etc.
