Number of Vacancies
This year, thousands of candidates will be up for 1660 vacancies for the post Sales Officer, Relationship Officer, Credit Officer and Sales Officer trainee.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The interested candidates applying for the posts in ESAF Small Finance Bank must be over the age of 21 years and less than 30 years as on 1st July 2017.
Educational Qualification
For Sales Officers: The aspirants must have completed Graduation/ Post Graduation or equivalent in any field from a University recognised by the central government. In addition to it, if an aspirant have 3 years of experience in sales, then, he/ she will be preferred.
For Relationship Officer: Graduation/ Post Graduation is a must in any discipline recognised as such by the central government. Those who will have 2 years of experience in banking sector will have edge over the other candidates.
For Credit Officer: One must have done Graduation in any subject from a recognised University and upon that he/ she must have 1 year of experience in credit appraisal.
For Sales Officer- Trainee: He/ She must have a Postgraduate degree in any field from a recognised University without any backlogs and must possess 1 year Sales Experience.
Selection Procedure
Phase 1: Registration of Candidature

Phase 2: Shortlisting
The aspirants will be selected based on their qualification and experience.
Phase 3: Calls for Assessment
The qualified candidates will be intimated through email about the next phases. They will need to show-up along with the following documents.

- Aadhar Card
- PAN Card
- ID Card
- Experience Letter
Phase 4: Objective Time Exam: The exam will be of 75 marks and the aspirants will be required to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to clear the exam.
Phase 5: Group Discussion: The Candidates who qualify this round will proceed to the next round i.e. Interview Round.
Phase 6: Preliminary Round: The Preliminary Interview Round will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for the final interview.
Phase 7: The Announcement of the Results: The overall performance will be determined in order to prepare the result.
Exam Pattern
Written Examination
- The Question Paper will contain multiple choice questions.
- In total, there will be four sections mentioned below in the table.
- The maximum marks obtainable will be 75 marks.
- Only 1 hour will be provided to complete the exam.
- The Question Paper will contain questions from the following topics.
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
- General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
- English Language
Group Discussion
- The general topics will be given during the discussion. The time will be given to the candidates to think before they start speaking.
- The duration of the group discussion will be 20 minutes.
- Through Group Discussion, the bank will test candidate’s communication skills, presentation, content and initiatives.
