FSSAI Food Analyst Exam 2019 – The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) recently conducted the paper-1 (theory) examination and will release the result for the same on August 14, 2019. Here candidates must note that the online registration or the application form has been closed for both 6th FAE & 3rd JAE 2019. As per the FSSAI website it is to inform that the examination including 6th FAE & 3rd JAE 2019 will not provide employment to the participating candidates. It is compulsory to qualify both the papers of 6th FAE & 3rd JAE, including theory & practical examination. Application Form
The online application form for the FSSAI 6th FAE & 3rd JAE 2019 has been closed by the conducting body. The examination for 6th FAE 2019 paper-1 (theory) was conducted recently on the July 14, 2019. Now further candidates will not be able to fill the online application form. Candidates now can access the login portal by using login credentials in order to get the admit card for paper-2 (practical) examination & to check the result for both the papers, as per the schedule.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification–
For 6th Food Analyst Examination 2019:
The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology, Food and Nutrition or hold Bachelor of Technology in Dairy/Oil or hold degree in Veterinary Sciences from a university establishes in India by law or is an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysts conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) or any other equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central government for such purposes.
For 3rd Junior Analyst Examination 2019:
The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology, Food and Nutrition or Food Science or Food Science and Nutrition or hold Bachelor of Technology in Dairy/Oil/Food or hold degree in Veterinary Sciences from a university establishes in India by law or is an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysts conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) or any other equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central government for such purposes.
Experience
For 6th Food Analyst Examination 2019 – The candidate should not possess less than three years experience in the analysis of food.
For 3rd Junior Analyst Examination 2019 – No Experience is required.
Age Limit:
For 6th Food Analyst Examination 2019 – There is no age limit for appearing in the 6th FAE 2019.
For 3rd Junior Analyst Examination 2019 – Junior Food Analyst Examination Candidates age limit is maximum 28 years. For SC/ST category the maximum age is 33 years and for OBC category the maximum age is 31 years.
Note:
- The candidates who qualify Paper-I (Theory paper) as per the laid down criteria will only be allowed to appear in Paper-II (Practical). Dates of Practical examination will be intimated separately.
- The Junior Analyst after acquiring 3 years mandatory experience in analysis of food may appear only in Paper-II (practical Examination) as and when conducted in future. The opportunity for appearing in Paper-II (Practical) for Junior Analysts after acquiring 3 years of experience will be provided only once. Upon qualifying Paper-III examination, the Junior Analyst will become eligible to be declared as Food Analysts under FSSR 2011.
Admit Card
FSSAI released the admit card for the candidates who appeared in the paper-1 theory examination of 6th Food Analyst Examination 2019. But those who will qualify the paper-1 (theory) examination will be eligible to appear in the paper-2 (practical) examination of 6th FAE 2019, as per the schedule,so such candidates will be able to download the admit card for paper-2 (practical) examination. It is required to use the login credentials to download the admit card. Marking Scheme-
Total marks- 4 x 200= 800 marks.
- Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- One mark will deducted for each wrong answer.
Important details regarding 6th FAE & 3rd JAE 2019:
• The FAE/JAE candidates should secure a minimum of 40% to be declared as passing the
theory paper.
• The candidates of FAE-2019 who pass and qualify the theory paper (i.e., Paper-I) only will be
eligible to appear for Practical (i.e., Paper-II). Dates, venue and syllabus of Paper-II will be
intimated separately.
• The candidates of JAE-2019 who pass and qualify the theory paper (i.e., Paper-I) only will be
awarded certificate as qualified Junior Analyst. JAE qualified candidates will be allowed to
appear for Paper-II for FAE, onlyafter obtaining the requisite experience of 3 years. This
opportunity is available to qualified JAE only once.

Important Instructions
- Candidate can apply only for one examination i.e., either for 6th FAE (Food Analysts Examination), 2019 or for 3rd JAE (Junior Analysts Examination), 2019.
- Candidates applying for 3rd JAE, 2019 will have to appear only for Theory Papers – I whereas candidates applying for 6th FAE, 2019 will also have to appear for Paper II (Practical exam) after clearing the theory papers I as per laid down criteria.
- Applications are to be submitted only through online mode. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be considered.
- Before filing up online application form, please ensure fulfillment of essential educational qualification and experience, as the case may be.
- No relaxation in the Educational Qualification and/or experience is admissible.
- Examination fee is to be submitted only through online mode. Fees submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.
- There shall be no refund of fees at any stage. In case fee is submitted for one application more than once, then excess fee will be refunded.
- Choice of examination center is available in the online form. However examination center may be changed if sufficient number of candidates is not available for a particular examination center.
FSSAI 6th FAE & 3rd JAE Result 2019
FSSAI will declare the result for the papers, including (theory & practical) separately as per the schedule. Those who appeared in the paper-1 theory based examination can check the result on August 14, 2019 & the same will be announced on the website of the Food Security and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) i.e. fssai.gov.in. And after conducting the paper-2 (practical) examination as per the schedule, the FSSAI will declare the result during the November 2nd week, 2019. After announcement of the results for both the papers of 6th FAE & 3rd JAE 2019, the conducting body will issue certificates separately for the candidates who qualified both the exams.
