Gujarat Engineering Service Result 2020 – Selection Procedure
The final selection of the candidates is determined by qualifying the 03 rounds of the selection procedure.

The examination for the preliminary examination is conducted for 400 marks. After candidates are able to qualify the prelims, they are invited for mains examination. GPSC conducts mains examination for 800 marks. The interview is conducted for 100 marks. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks of the mains exam and interview round.

- To appear in the mains examination, candidates have to fill up the application form.
- A few days after the application procedure, GPSC issues the call letters for the mains examination. Aspirants can download their Gujarat engineering Service mains exam call letters from ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Candidates also have to carry a photograph and identity proof along with the call letter to the mains exam centre.
- Candidates are allowed to carry non-programmable calculators to the centre. A notice for the same is released on the website.
Gujarat Engineering Service 2020 Probation
After the selection of the candidates, they have to serve a probation period of 02 years. When candidates complete the probation, they are appointed for the announced posts. After the appointment, the candidates also have to pass a Hindi language test and departmental examination as per the rules. Those, whose mother tongue is not Gujarati have to pass Gujarati language examination.
