IBPS RRB 2022 Selection Procedure
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts two major stages for the selection of IBPS RRB. The first one is the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) which is an online examination conducted for the candidates and the ones who qualify the online examination will proceed further to the next stage, which is an Interview round. Online examination has two stages and they are prelims and mains examinations. Candidates who qualify prelims can appear for the mains and candidates who cleared mains are invited for the interview round. To know more about the selection procedure read below:

Detailed IBPS RRB Selection Procedure
- Aspiring Candidates have to appear for the prelims examination.
- Once the result is announced for the prelims examination, those who qualify for it are eligible to appear for the mains examination.
- They are issued IBPs RRB mains call letters where the mains examination schedule is mentioned.
- Once the candidate is done with mains examination and the results are out, the qualified ones will be issued a call letter for the interview round by IBPS.
- After the Interview, a list is prepared for the ones selected and candidates are provisionally allotted to the RRBs. The Assistant Officers and Scale-1 Officers get posted in the state selected by them.
- The Officers from other scales can be posted anywhere as per the requirement of RRB and IBPS.
Preparation of IBPS RRB Final Merit List 2022
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is the one responsible to prepare the merit list of IBPS RRB once the interview round is concluded. The final merit list is prepared as per the post and the selection procedure. This section will give a brief idea about how the merit list of each post is created.
- The Marks Scored in the Mains Examination is considered for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) for preparing the final merit list.
- The next is for the post of Officer Scale-I, the marks scored by the candidates in the mains examination is used for shortlisting for the interview round and for the preparation of merit list.
- When it comes for preparation of merit list and shortlisting for the interview round for the post of Officer Scale-II (Generalist and Specialist) the marks of mains exam is considered.
Provisional Allotment for IBPS RRB 2022
After the selection process is concluded, shortlisted candidates get provisional allotment by IBPS to one of the RRBs as per the vacancies, merit list and candidates state preference. A separate list is released by IBPS for the candidates who got allotted various posts in RRBs. The post-wise allotment list has details such as the candiate’s roll number, marks scored out of 100, and the bank allotted to the candidate. Candidates should have a look at the allotment list to know in which bank they are posted. After this candidates are called for document verification by IBPS and they need to be there with original documents. Once the documents are verified, the RRB’s issue the appointment letter to the candidate.
IBPS RRB 2022
Every Year the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the examination for Regional Rural Banks for the vacancies of Officer Scale-I and Officer Assistant( Multipurpose). Candidates must appear for this examination if they wish to be in one of the RRBs. Candidates need to appear for the online examinations that are mains and prelims. Candidates who qualify for the prelims can appear for the mains and the ones who also qualify for the mains are invited for the Interview round. Once the Interview is done, the Provisional allotment of RRBs is done.
