JK SET 2022 Result Date

Last year, the University of Kashmir declared the result for JK SET exam on July 16, 2018, when the exam was on March 11, 2018, that is 127 number of dates after the exam. So this year also, candidates expect the result within 127 number days after the exam.

JK SET Cut-off Marks 

Aspirants have to obtain minimum qualifying marks or cut-off marks to qualify for the JK SET 2022 exam. The previous year’s JK SET cut-off marks have been given below, based on which, candidates can determine the cut-off marks or qualifying marks for their upcoming JK SET exam. 

Selection Procedure of JK SET Result 2022 

The JK SET selection procedure has three consecutive stages. The candidates have to clear all the stages to gain complete eligibility for the post of  Assistant Professor in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. The step-wise details have been explained below.

Step 1: The candidates have to qualify with the below mentioned minimum scores in the SET exam to clear Step 1.

Step 2:  A merit list will be prepared for the candidates who have been cleared step 1, on the ground of subject and the category along with the aggregate scores for all the papers of the candidate.

Step 3: JK SET merit list is prepared only for those candidates who appear in all three papers and secure the aggregate mark( 40% for the general category and 35% for the reserved category).  The top 6% among them can be declared as SET qualified and will be awarded the e-certificate.

 After the result declaration for the JK SET exam, candidates can check their results through the above-mentioned process as explained in the how to check the result section and qualified candidates can download their JK SET e-certificate online. The detailed procedure of downloading the e-certificate is given below:

•  The home page will open after that.
•  Now click on ‘GET JK SET 2021 e-certificate.
•  Enter the roll number and date of birth for login.
•  Next click on the  ‘get certificate’ link.
•  JK SET e-certificate will appear on the screen.

JK SET e-certificate: JK SET qualification certificate is issued only for the JK SET qualified candidates. The e-certificate will be issued only after the verification of the below-mentioned documents:

• Copy of e-certificate
• Postgraduate marks certificate
• Date of birth certificate
• Category certificate
• Demand draft

JK SET Exam

Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test(JK SET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year to ascertain the eligibility of the candidates for the post of assistant professor in the colleges and universities of Jammu Kashmir. This exam is based on 37 different subjects. The merit list of JK SET  is prepared only for those candidates who can secure the aggregate mark( 40% for the general category and 35% for the reserved category).  The top 6% among them can be declared as SET qualified. After that, the qualified candidates are awarded an eligibility certificate by the university.
