JK SET Application Form 2020

- In the JK SET 2020 Application Form, applicants needed to enter their personal details, educational qualification details, choose the course for which they wish to appear for and preferable exam centre.

JK SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are crucial norms for the JK SET 2020 exam these are set up by the University of Kashmir which is the conducting authority of this exam. The candidates who want to get the eligibility for the Assistant Professor through this exam must satisfy all the eligibility criteria for the same. All the conditions for the JK SET eligibility have been given below.
Norm 1 – Academic Requirement
- Candidates must have qualified their Undergraduate exams from a recognized university.
- Students who have their PhD degree and have completed their masters are given a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
- It is advised that the candidates appear for the subject of their post-graduation only.
- There is no minimum upper age limit for applying for SET.
Norm 2 – Exemption from the test
- Candidates, those who have qualified the NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR JRF exams are exempted from the SET 2020 exam.
Norm 3 – Residential Status
- It is not compulsory to be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir to apply for JK SET exam.
Norm 4 – Qualifying Exam and Scores
- Candidates belonging to general category have to secure at least 55% marks (without rounding off) and reserved category candidates must have secured 50% marks in their last qualifying exams.
- Candidates who will be appearing or have appeared for the qualifying Master’s degree examination can also apply for this Test.
JK SET Admit Card 2020
Right before a few days of the examination, University of Kashmir releases JK SET admit card online. To download the admit card, candidates must visit the website set.uok.edu.in. Candidates are required to enter their JK SET roll number and password to download the call letter. It is compulsory to carry JK SET hall ticket along with a photo identity proof to the examination centre. The details that are mentioned on the admit card are as follows – venue of exam, reporting time of the exam centre, important instructions for the exam.

The exam pattern of an exam tells about the basic details of the question paper for an exam. JK SET Answer Key 2020
Once the examination process is over, the University of Kashmir releases the official answer key for the exam online. It can be downloaded from the official website of J & K agency, set.uok.edu.in. The university first releases the provisional answer key for the examination. Hereafter, candidates can send their objections against the answer key through email – [email protected]. A final answer key releases based on which final marks for the preparation of result are calculated.
JK SET 2020 Result 2020
After the answer key for JK State Eligibility Test releases, candidates can check their result online. To check JK SET result, visit set.uok.edu.in. University of Kashmir releases the e-certificate and scores of the exam a few days after the declaration of result. Both e-certificate and JK SET score can be downloaded through login. Candidates require their roll number and date of birth to login. As per previous year, e-certificate releases 5 days after the declaration of result.

The candidates securing more marks than the ones mentioned in the above table will be included in a merit list which will be prepared subject wise for all the categories. The merit list will be prepared on the subject-wise and category-wise basis. It will be using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.
Candidates who have appeared for all three papers and have secured 40% aggregate for general category and 35% for the reserved category from the merit list. Only top 6% of these candidates are declared as Jammu and Kashmir SET qualified for eligibility for lectureship only.
