Maharashtra Public Service Commission or MPSC is a Constitutional Body established Under Article 315 of Constitution of India. The body aims at lending a smooth and efficient transition of functions of the Government of Maharashtra (GoM). The body performs the responsibility of recruiting young and passionate individuals at various Governmental posts. With privilege, MPSC has been entrusted with conducting some of the major examinations in the state for appointment of the such candidates.

MPSC recently invited applications to recruit 1008 eligible candidate for the post of Police Sub Inspector, Sales Tax Inspector, Assistant Section Officer in 2017. The Candidates will have to go through a written test which is to be conducted on the dates as mentioned in the table below. Post Age Criteria Qualification Criteria
Assistant Section Officer 18 to 38 years Bachelor Degree in any stream and discipline. Candidates must be fluent in Marathi Language.
Sales Tax Inspector 19 to 31 years Graduate in any discipline and stream. Candidates must be fluent in Marathi Language.
Police Sub Inspector 19 to 31 years Graduation Degree in any discipline and Candidates must be fluent in Marathi Language.

MPSC Admit Card 2017

Admit Card of MPSC for Sales Tax Inspector, sub inspector and section officer Recruitment 2017 will be issued by the MPSC. The MPSC 2017 Admit Card is also searched as the hall ticket/ call letter and it is issued to those candidates who have submitted their application form and fees on time. Some of the Important details of the exam such as examination center, date and time, photograph and signature imprint and candidate’s roll number etc are printed on the admit card. MPSC Admit Card 2017 can be downloaded by entering Application Number from the official website of the Board. Candidates will have to produce the said document on the exam day. Fete the admit card issue, any type of error in the document will not be entertained.

There will be four phases of the MPSC Police Sub Inspector, Sales Tax Inspector, Assistant Section Officer Recruitment 2017

A. Preliminary Test – 100 Marks
B. Main Written Examination – 200 Marks
C. Physical Tests – 100 Marks
D. Interview – 40 Marks

MPSC Result 2017

The MPSC Result 2017 will be announced after the exam has been successfully conducted. The exam takers are curious to appear for their exam and know their results as quickly as possible. Well! there is time for it. But you are informed that the MPSC 2017 Result will be announced on the official website of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Participants will be able to check their MPSC Results 2017 online at mpsc.gov.in As for now the application is in running process till 16 May 2017. The exam will be conducted as scheduled and within a month after that we can expect the results to be out.
