The Nainital Bank had released the notification for the recruitment of Management Trainees in the bank. The Nainital Bank is the old Private Sector Scheduled Commercial Bank, operating in States of Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan. The candidates who shall be selected for the post will be for a period of one year on payment of consolidated lump sum stipend of Rs. 25,000.00 per month. After the completion of the candidate’s initial period of one year the Management Trainees may be engaged in the initial stage of Basic Pay of Officers Grade/Scale-I.  Such candidates or the Management Trainees that are placed under Officers Grade/Scale-I shall remain on probation for the further period of one year. Educational Qualification – Candidate should have passed Graduation/ Post Graduation with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized university/institute.

Selection Process – The Nainital Bank Recruitment selection will be done on the basis of the Online examination followed by the personal interview.

Nainital Bank Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The Bank has set the eligibility norms for the candidates who are interested in applying for the recruitment. Only the eligible candidates are allowed to fill the application form. Therefore, candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions for the recruitment. The eligibility norms are given below in the table:

The candidates should not have born earlier than August 1, 1990 and not later than July 31, 1996.

Candidates applying for the post must have passed the Graduation/ Post Graduation with at least 55% aggregate marks in the streams of Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Agriculture/ MBA/ B.Tech/MCA/BCA from a recognized university/ Institute. Moreover applicants should posses a good knowledge of Hindi and English language and Proficiency in Computer.

Application Process

The application form for the Nainital Bank Recruitment is available online on the official website of the bank. All the candidates are advised to read the eligibility norms very careful that are mentioned above before applying for the recruitment. The candidates will only be able to fill the application form till September 12, 2017. The application form will only be filled and submitted through online mode. The candidates need to pay the application fee while submitting the application form.

Application fee for all the candidates is Rs. 1,003.00/- which includes the application fee of Rs. 850/- and GST at 18% of Rs. 153/-

The fee can be paid through online mode by using the Credit/ Debit card or by net banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Instructions to fill the application form:

  • The candidate need to register themselves from the official website of Nainital Bank at nainitalbank.co.in
  • After filling the registration with the basic details. After that a Provisional  Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Note down the registration number and password and should retain it till the selection.
  • Now upload the scanned images of photograph and signature as prescribed by the bank.
  • Check all the details filled in the application form by clicking on the preview section. After checking it click on the “Final Submit”
  • Now candidates can proceed to make payment b clicking on the payment section.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee through online mode by using the Credit/ Debit card or by net banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. On the successful payment of the application fee, a E-Receipt shall be generated
  • Candidates must take a printout of the E- Receipt for the future use.

Nainital Bank Recruitment 2017 Admit Card / Call Letters

The candidates need to download the call letter for the Online examination of Nainital Bank Recruitment 2017. The eligible candidates will be able to download the call letter from the official website of Nainital Bank at nainitalbank.co.in The intimation for the availability of the admit card will be communicated through email/SMS on the registered email and phone number. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download. The candidate is required to enter the  (i) Registration Number/ Roll Number, (ii) Password/ Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. Candidate needs to affix recent recognizable photograph on the call letter same as provided during registration.  The call letters shall indicate the date, time, venue of the online test.

Note- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without the valid call letter and photo identity proof such as  PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph.

Exam Pattern

The Online test will be conducted in english language only. The paper will be of multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) with 5 options for one single question.  There will be negative marking, for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates will get 110 minutes to complete the test. The examination will be conducted in the following given manner. Candidates must note down the pattern and accordingly prepare for the examination.

Personal Interview

The candidates who shall successfully clear the test, shall be called for the interview round. The intimation. Subject to their being medically fit for assignment, the selected candidates will be offered assignment of Management Trainee.
