OTET Syllabus 2022 – The Board of Secondary Education Odisha decides the syllabus for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2022. The syllabus is designed to test the basic knowledge and skills of the candidate in their field of expertise. OTET Syllabus 2022
OTET comprises 2 papers, paper1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for the primary level teaching aspirants and paper 2 is for the upper primary level teaching aspirants. The syllabus is different for both papers. Mentioned below is the syllabus for the OTET 2022 examination.

OTET Exam Pattern 2022
As mentioned above, OTET will have two papers – Paper1 for primary level teachers and Paper2 for upper primary level teachers.
Exam pattern for OTET 2022 paper 1:
- All questions are objective type
- The candidate has to select one option out of 4 options given for a question
- No negative markings, hence make sure to attend to all the questions.
- The time duration of paper 1 is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- The mark weightage of all the questions is equal. One mark each.

Exam pattern for OTET 2022 paper 2:
- All questions are objective type
- The candidate has to select one option out of 4 options given for a question
- No negative markings, hence make sure to attend to all the questions.
- The time duration of paper 2 is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- The mark weightage of all the questions is equal. One mark each.
Paper 2 comprises 3 compulsory subjects and 1 optional subject that the candidate previously selected while submitting their online application.

OTET
BSE Odisha conducts the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test every year to determine the eligible candidates to teach the primary and upper primary students of Odisha. OTET is conducted every year and BSE Odisha has not kept any attempt limits to this exam. OTET is not a job selection examination and hence does not guarantee the candidate a job. It acts as a benchmark to select teachers in the schools of Odisha. OTET comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for the primary level teachers, and paper 2 is for the upper primary level teachers.
