The following categories are given relaxation in their age limit:
- SC: 5 years over and above the normal recruitment age.
- Person with disability: 10 years over and above the normal recruitment age.

PSPCL LDC Recruitment Exam Center 2019
The exam conducting body does not publish a list of the specified exam centres on the website. There is no proper cities or places mentioned where the exam will take place for the candidates to take the exam. It will only get to know through the admit card issued by the official. The exam city and center gets displayed in the admit card for each individual. According to the official notification, it has been said that the exam center will be in the places only in Punjab. The exam center and city can not get changed afterwards. All the information regarding teh exact date, time venue ofthe exam center and exam is sent on the registered email id prior to the exam.

PSPCL LDC Recruitment Selection Procedure 2019
Candidates who fulfil the given academic qualification then proceed further for the online examination. The online examination occurs for the different post and the pattern for both are also different and varied. Candidates can check the pattern for both of them from the article above.
After the online examination, suitable candidates will get a call from the conducting body for documents verification. Candidates received the information on their registered email id. All the details, the date and timings and everything about the document verification process is mentioned in the mail sent on the mail id of the candidates.
Any discrepancy in the documents and information provided in the application will lead to the cancellation of the candidature of the candidate. And if candidates do not appear on the first scheduled date then 2nd schedule date will be given as a last chance.

General Important Pointer for PSPCL LDC Recruitment 2019
- Validity of the post by teh selection panel is 1 year from teh date of is approval.
- After the expiry of validity, candidates in the waiting list is cease to exist even if the documents verification is completed.
- The final candidates who have issued the appointment letter have to join the organisation wothin 21 days (subject to change as per teh validity of the panel).
- If the candidate does not join within 21 days another notice of 21 days are given to the candidate.
- Candidates working in Government/Semi-Govt or Cooperativeorganizations shall have to subit the No Objections Certificate from the previous employer.
Preparation of PSPCL LDC Merit List 2019
The merit list for the final selection is based upon the score achieved in the online test. The qualifiers of the online test are then called for the documents verification round. The recruitment process for stenotypist is a bit different. Candidates can check the selection process from below:
- Candidates who are eligible for the post will go for the online test.
- The qualifiers of the online exam are then called for document verification
- After the successful completion of the DV they are eligible to appear for 1st language test in punjabi or english.
- Candidates who qualifies both the test (online and 1st language test) are then considered for selection.
- Merit list is then prepared on the basis of the marks achieved in the online test and not on the basis of marks scored in 1st language test. But its mandatory to give to qualify for the selection as steno typist.
Note: Applicants has to choose their preference for language test during filling up of the application form.
PSPCL Training 2019
The person if got selected have to produce a No objection Certificate from the employer before joining PSPCL. The selected candidates will then undergo training at Technical Institute Shakti Vihar, PSPCL, Patiala as per PSPCL instructions. Candidates also have to submit the NOC from the previous employer before joining the organisation.
