RRB Group D Admit Card

Admit Card: For CEN 09/2025, the CBT is scheduled 3-21 August 2026. E-call letters become available around 4 days before each candidate’s exam date, downloadable via login at rrbapply.gov.in. The Exam City & Date intimation link (and SC/ST Travel Authority download) goes live around 10 days before the exam date.
How to Download RRB Group D Admit Card
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card (e-call letter) for RRB Group D CEN 09/2025.
- Go to rrbapply.gov.in, or click on the link provided on this page, to download the e-call letter.
- Log in with your registered credentials.
- Click on the link for “E-Call Letter” / admit card for the CBT exam.
- The RRB Group D Admit Card is going to appear on the screen.
- Applicants should download and take the print out of the admit card to carry it on the day of the exam.

Travel Authority for SC / ST Candidates
Candidates belonging to the reserved category SC / ST are also going to be eligible to get the travel pass by railways to travel free of cost throughout the recruitment process. Only those candidates who are going to show the admit card of RRB Group D along with the category certificate can only get the travel authority. Those candidates who have uploaded the caste certificate in the prescribed format while filling the application form can avail this facility.
What to Carry for RRB Group D CBT Exam
On the exam day, candidates should make sure that they carry the relevant documents as then only he / she can give the exam. No candidates are going to be allowed to appear for the exam without the valid documents. Here is the list of documents which candidates need to carry on the day of the exam.
- RRB Group D Admit Card in a printed format
- Scanned passport size photograph
- A govt. approved photo id proof like Voter ID, Aadhaar card, Driving License, PAN card, Passport etc.
- Original Aadhaar card (or printout of e-verified Aadhaar), for mandatory Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the exam centre before entry
The Photograph which applicants need to carry should be as per the specifications as then only it will be considered valid. Refer to the points listed below to know the specifications of the photograph.
- The size of the photo should vary from 35mm X 45mm.
- The photograph should be clear and must be clicked without glasses or a hat.
- The size of the body in the photo should be proportionate.
- Xerox copy of the photograph is not permitted.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern

First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
Language of exam: The CBT is going to be held in English, Hindi, Urdu, and local languages as well like Tamil / Telugu / Konkani / Malayalam / Kannada / Marathi / Gujarati / Bengali, Odia / Assamese / Manipuri / Punjabi.
Duration of the Exam: For the CBT exam, candidates are going to get 90 min. PwD Category candidates will get 2 Hours (120 mins)
Number of Questions: CBT exam will have 100 questions objective type
Sections of the exam: Questions in the exam are going to be pertaining to Maths, General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and General Science.
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 marks. ⅓ marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer from the total score.
Second Stage Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates qualifying the CBT exam successfully are going to appear for the PET round. In this round, candidates are required to perform physical activities like running, and weight lifting. Candidates can refer to the table below to know the activities in detail for both male and female.

Candidates have to lift the weight without putting it down. For weight lifting, candidates will get 2 Min. Applicants are going to get 1 chance each in both the tasks.
Third Stage Document Verification (DV)
Applicants who are going to clear the above 2 stages are going to be called for the document verification. For this round, candidates are required to carry the original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the documents on the allotted day of document verification. RRB does not check the eligibility of the candidates while filling the application form. It carries out the verification and identification process during the time of Document Verification. In this round, candidates have to be present the documents only in Hindi or English language.
Important Instructions
Candidates should keep in mind the following instructions listed below.
- All the candidates are advised to keep the admit card in good condition till the time recruitment process gets over completely.
- No admit cards are going to be sent to the candidates via post.
- Electronic devices like calculator, mobile phones are prohibited in the exam hall. So, do not carry it on the exam day.
- To avoid the mutilation of the admit card, candidates can get it laminated so that it does not get damaged.
- Any kind of notebook, paper, written material is also not allowed at the examination center.
- In case anybody is found using unfair means while taking the exam will not be allowed to take the exam.
- Candidates must make sure that they reach the exam center prior to the commencement of the exam.
RRB Group D Answer Key
Since the CEN 09/2025 CBT is scheduled only for 3-21 August 2026, the answer key has not been released yet. Soon after the completion of each candidate’s CBT, the provisional answer key is released by the Railway Recruitment Board. The RRB Group D Answer Key will be made available to candidates who have appeared for the CBT exam, in online mode at rrbapply.gov.in. An answer key is helpful for candidates as they can match their answers and get an estimate of their marks. Candidates will also get to know their chances of getting selected for the further rounds of recruitment. However, the exact scores can be known only after the result declaration.
