The RRB ALP admit card (e-call letter) for CBT-I under CEN 01/2026 had not been posted as of 27 October 2026, but the city intimation slip has been live since 23 October 2026 for the exam on 3, 4 and 5 November 2026. The e-call letter opens 4 days (tentatively) before the exam date shown on your city slip. The recruitment is for 11127 Assistant Loco Pilot posts.

How to get the RRB ALP 2026 city slip and e-call letter

  • Open the city intimation link listed under CEN 01/2026 on the RRB notice board. It leads to a candidate login page on rrb.digialm.com.
  • Log in with your Registration Number, with your date of birth as the password (the login page gives the example 26/01/1990). If you have lost your registration number, the page says you can get it from rrbapply.gov.in with your credentials, or from your registered email.
  • SC and ST candidates download their travel authority from the same link. For those eligible for free travel, the e-call letter itself carries the sleeper class railway pass. No call letter is sent by post.
  • Helpdesk: 7996342666, Monday to Saturday, 09:00 am to 06:00 pm, as given in the city slip notice of 23 October 2026.

The CBT-I dates were set by a schedule notice of 21 September 2026 as 3 to 5 November 2026. Your exact date and city are on your own slip.

What to carry to the RRB ALP CBT

  • The e-call letter with a valid original photo ID, such as a Voter ID, Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card, passport, or a school or college ID if you are still studying. Without it you will not be allowed to appear.
  • A colour passport photograph not older than two months from the date of the CBT.
  • Your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar, for Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication before entry. Keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system. It should show your correct name, date of birth as per your Class 10 certificate, latest photograph and father's name.

Write the self-declaration paragraph, sign and give your left thumb impression on the e-call letter only in the exam hall, in front of the invigilator. A declaration written in advance, or a signature in CAPITAL letters, is rejected. Only the e-call letter is allowed inside. CEN 01/2026 bans mobile phones, watches, earphones, Bluetooth devices, health bands, calculators, pens and pencils (a pen is provided), belts, handbags, caps, purses, cameras, water bottles and food. Avoid henna, as it obstructs biometric capture. A cloak room may not be available. Requests to change the centre, date or shift are not allowed.

Call letters for CBT-II and CBAT

ALP has three tests, each with its own call letter. CBT-I is only a screening test. Up to 15 times the vacancies of each RRB are shortlisted for CBT-II and told through the RRB websites, SMS and email to download their CBT-II e-call letter. From CBT-II Part-A marks, candidates equal to 8 times the community-wise vacancies who also qualify in Part-B are called for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). On CBAT day you must produce, in original, the Self Screening Medical Declaration Report (Annexure VIII A and VIII B), signed by an Eye Specialist and a General Physician of a Central or State Government hospital or medical college. Without it you are not allowed to appear. Candidates who have had LASIK or any other surgery to correct refractive error are not eligible for ALP.

The previous cycle is at this stage now. For CEN 01/2025, the CBAT e-call letter link was posted on 26 October 2026 for a CBAT on 30 October 2026. A notice of 8 October 2026 told those candidates to bring their vision certificate in original in the Annexure VIA format.
