The RRB NTPC 2026 admit card is not out yet: CBT-1 for CEN 06/2026 (Graduate) is only tentatively planned to start in the fourth week of December 2026, and no CBT date has been announced for CEN 07/2026 (Undergraduate). Both e-call letters will be issued on the unified RRB website, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in, about 4 days before each candidate's CBT date, and the exam city will be shown about 10 days in advance.
When will the RRB NTPC 2026 admit card be released?
The indicative notice of 12 October 2026 says a separate notice with the exact CBT-1 dates will be issued once they are finalised. If the Graduate CBT-1 does begin in the fourth week of December 2026, the 10-day city-intimation rule puts the city slip in mid-December 2026. Applications are still open: CEN 06/2026 closes on 6 November 2026 and CEN 07/2026 on 13 November 2026, with correction windows running until 18 November and 25 November 2026, so the Undergraduate CBT will come later.
City intimation slip vs e-call letter
| Document | When | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Exam city and date intimation | About 10 days before the CBT | Shows the exam city and date |
| E-call letter | About 4 days before the CBT | The only paper allowed inside the test centre; for SC and ST candidates who opted for it, it contains the free sleeper-class railway pass |
Both are downloaded only from the links on the unified RRB website; no call letter is sent by post. In the 2025 cycle the links opened on the RRB exam portal (rrb.digialm.com). The login uses your rrbapply.gov.in account: the RRBs advised candidates who had lost their registration number to retrieve it by logging in to www.rrbapply.gov.in, and to use the forgot-password link there to recover their password.
What to check on the e-call letter
An e-call letter does not mean your application has been accepted: at the centre your photograph and signature are checked against your application before you are allowed to take the exam. If your photograph does not match, CEN 06/2026 provides a photo-mismatch certificate (Annexure VIII) to be signed by a Gazetted Officer. If your name has changed since Class 10, carry the Gazette notification or other legal document and a photo ID in the new name to the CBT. You must write the self-declaration paragraph, sign and put your left thumb impression (LTI) at the venue in front of the invigilator; a paragraph written in advance or a signature in CAPITAL letters leads to rejection. In the last Undergraduate cycle, the RRBs gave the helpdesk number 9513166169 (Monday to Saturday, 09:00 am to 06:00 pm), and a helpdesk link appears after you log in to the city intimation page.
Exam-day rules for the RRB NTPC CBT
- Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is done before you enter the exam hall. Bring your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar, and keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
- Bring the e-call letter and a valid original photo ID (Voter ID, Aadhaar, e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card, passport, employer ID for government staff, or school/college ID).
- Bring a colour passport photograph not older than two months.
- Only the e-call letter is allowed inside; a pen is provided, so do not carry a pen or pencil.
- Banned items include mobile phones, watches, earphones, Bluetooth devices, health bands, calculators, belts, handbags, caps, purses, water bottles and food. A mobile phone found on you, even switched off, cancels your candidature and debars you from RRB exams.
- Do not apply henna or mehndi, as it obstructs biometric capture. Cloak rooms may not be available at exam venues.
- Requests to change the exam date, centre or shift are not allowed. Reporting times and other centre instructions are printed with the e-call letter.

CBT-2 and document verification call letters
CBT-2 follows the same 10-day and 4-day pattern, with its own city slip and e-call letter for shortlisted candidates. Because the typing skill test has been dispensed with in both CEN 06/2026 and CEN 07/2026, and no Station Master post is notified, there is no separate typing-test or aptitude-test call letter this cycle. Candidates shortlisted after CBT-2 are told through the RRB webpages, SMS and email to download their e-call letter for document verification (DV), and must upload their photo and signature on oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv before their DV date.
