RRB Group D Admit Card 2026: CEN 09/2025 E-Call Letter, PET

The RRB Group D admit card (e-call letter) for CEN 09/2025 has been issued and used: the Computer Based Test (CBT) ran on 16 days between 3 and 25 August 2026. The RRBs posted the City Intimation and E-Call Letter link on 25 July 2026, and that download page now shows "Date Expired". The next call letter is for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will come from the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) after the CBT result, which is still awaited.

How the CEN 09/2025 call letters were released

• Schedule: a tentative notice of 3 July 2026 fixed the CBT for 3 to 21 August 2026. The revised schedule of 30 July 2026 changed it to August 3 to 6, 9 to 14, 17 to 21 and 25.
• City and date intimation: the link went live 10 days before each candidate's exam date on the official websites of all RRBs. SC/ST candidates downloaded their Travel Authority from the same link.
• E-call letter: downloadable about 4 days before the exam date shown on the city intimation.
• Login: you need your registration number. In the previous cycle, the RRBs told candidates to retrieve it from rrbapply.gov.in with their credentials or the forgot-password link.
• Scribe: each scribe got a separate e-call letter, and scribe-eligible candidates had 120 minutes instead of 90.

For eligible SC/ST candidates, the free travel authority (a sleeper class railway pass) is printed on the e-call letter itself. To book, submit a self-attested photocopy of the e-call letter and your SC/ST certificate. On the journey, carry the original community certificate and photo ID, or you will be treated as travelling without a ticket.

What to carry to the RRB Group D CBT

• The e-call letter, with a valid original photo ID such as a Voter ID, Aadhaar card or e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card, passport, or college ID if still studying.
• Two identity documents in original, one of them the same photo ID given in the application, as the revised schedule of 30 July 2026 requires.
• For Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication: your original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar. Keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
• A colour passport photograph not older than two months on the exam date.

Write the self-declaration paragraph, sign and give your left thumb impression on the e-call letter only at the venue, in front of the invigilator. A declaration written in advance, or a signature in CAPITAL letters, is rejected.

What is banned at the centre

Only the e-call letter is allowed inside. The CEN 09/2025 bans mobile phones, watches, earphones, Bluetooth devices, health bands, calculators, pens and pencils (a pen is provided), belts, caps, purses, water bottles and food. Do not apply henna on your hands or feet, as it obstructs biometric capture. There may be no cloak room at the venue. A mobile phone or other wireless device, even switched off, means cancellation of candidature and debarment from RRB examinations. Requests to change the centre, date or shift are not entertained.

The next call letter: PET

CBT merit decides who is called for PET, at three times the community-wise vacancies of each RRC. The PET e-call letter comes from the RRC of your zone, not the RRB. In the previous cycle, RRB Chandigarh's CBT result of 1 July 2026 said its candidates would hear from RRC New Delhi, Northern Railway (rrcnr.org), with SMS and email alerts for the e-call letter. PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and CCAA candidates are exempt from PET.

RRB Group D admit card release in past cycles
