RRB Isolated Categories CBT results for CEN 08/2025 were declared RRB by RRB, mostly on 5 and 6 October 2026, and a score card link followed on 8 October 2026. RRB Chandigarh and RRB Kolkata posted their results on 5 October, and RRB Mumbai and RRB Ahmedabad on 6 October. The next stages are under way. The Junior Translator (Hindi) Translation Test is on 30 October 2026, and RRB-wise DV schedules began appearing on 9 October 2026.

What each CEN 08/2025 result means

Posts other than Junior Translator: DV shortlist

For these posts the CBT result is the shortlist for Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates equal to the number of vacancies are called, according to merit and options. At RRB Chandigarh, for example, 2 candidates were shortlisted for Chief Law Assistant and 2 for Senior Publicity Inspector.

Junior Translator (Hindi): Translation Test shortlist

For Junior Translator, the result shortlists 10 times the notified vacancies for the Translation Test, subject to availability of qualified candidates. RRB Chandigarh's list had 261 roll numbers. The test needs 60% to qualify, and the final merit is on CBT marks alone.

How the result is published

• Each RRB posts its own PDFs. Roll numbers are listed post-category-wise in ascending order, not in order of merit, as RRB Chandigarh's Chief Law Assistant list shows.
• Cut-off marks out of 100 are published for each post and community.
• If you appeared for more than one post category with different question papers, you are shortlisted in each according to your merit in that category.
• The individual result or score card opens with your Registration No. and date of birth, and is available only for fifteen days from the date of the result notice.

If two candidates have the same marks, the older one ranks higher. If they are the same age, the alphabetical order (A to Z) of the given name, not the surname, decides.

After the result: DV, medical and appointment

1. Per RRB Chandigarh's result notice, DV: the e-call letter, with date and reporting time, is sent by email/SMS or through the website. Bring the originals with two sets of A4 self-attested photocopies. Certificates must be in English or Hindi, and absence from DV or the medical forfeits candidature.
2. Medical: candidates go to a nominated Railway Hospital the day after DV and should come prepared for more than 3 to 4 days. Candidates pay the prescribed medical fee of Rs 24 (RRB Chandigarh notice).
3. Appointment: the RRBs only recommend empanelled names, and the respective Railway Administrations offer appointment after the medical fitness test and verification of certificates and antecedents.

In the previous cycle, CEN 07/2024, results also came RRB by RRB and post by post. RRB Mumbai's first results were posted on 8 December 2025 and RRB Ahmedabad's on 17 December 2025. RRB Chandigarh issued its Main Panel on 1 July 2026 and Part Panel-1 on 7 August 2026.
