RRB Group D Result 2026: CEN 09/2025 Status, Scorecard, PET

The RRB Group D result for CEN 09/2025 had not been declared as of 27 October 2026. The CBT ended on 25 August 2026, and the answer key objection window closed on 17 September 2026. The latest CEN 09/2025 notice, dated 16 October 2026, opens a CCAA modification window from 22 to 28 October 2026. In the previous cycle, the CEN 08/2024 CBT result came out on 1 July 2026.

What the RRB Group D CBT result looks like

Going by the CEN 08/2024 result, each RRB puts three items on its own website:

• A PDF of the 16-digit roll numbers shortlisted for PET, in ascending order and not in order of merit.
• A PDF of the normalised cut-off marks for each community, for candidates shortlisted for PET.
• A scorecard link showing your percentile score and normalised marks. You log in with your Registration Number and your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. For CEN 08/2024 it was live from 01.07.2026 (18:00 hrs) to 16.07.2026 (23:55 hrs).

Shortlisting is done RRC by RRC, at three times the community-wise vacancies, not counting PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and CCAA candidates. Those three groups are exempt from PET, and the RRCs publish their lists separately. The field is large: the RRBs reported 52,39,760 applications (tentative) under CEN 09/2025.

How merit is decided

Whenever the CBT runs in multiple sessions on the same syllabus, shortlisting at every stage uses normalised marks. If two candidates have the same marks, the older one ranks higher. If their age is also the same, the alphabetical order (A to Z) of the given name, not the surname, decides. For CCAA candidates, NCVT marks entered during the modification window carry weightage in the final merit list.

After the result: PET, document verification and medical

1. PET, conducted by the RRC of your zone. Men must lift and carry 35 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes, then run 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds. Women must carry 20 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes, then run 1000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds. Each test is one chance only. The weight-carrying test comes first, and failing it means elimination at that stage.
2. Document Verification (DV), with candidates called in a 1:1 ratio to vacancies, based on CBT merit among those who qualify in the PET. Bring your original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies. Before your DV date, upload your photo and signature at oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv.
3. Medical Examination, to the standard prescribed for the post. The RRB then recommends names, and only the Railway Administration offers appointment.

The RRBs publish the CBT result. Dates for PET, DV, medical examination and empanelment come later through the RRC websites, along with SMS and email alerts.
