No RRB ALP answer key has been released for CEN 01/2026: the CBT-I is scheduled for 3 to 5 November 2026, and the key link comes only after the exam. The RRBs publish the key as a time-bound link on their websites. Through it, each candidate sees their questions, their own responses and the answer keys, and can object. In the previous cycle, CEN 01/2025, the CBT-I key link opened on 20 March 2026 at 17:00 hrs.
How the RRB ALP objection window works
The CEN 01/2026 objection notice has not been issued yet. These are the terms of the two CEN 01/2025 notices, for CBT-I and CBT-II:
- Objections can be raised on questions, options and answer keys.
- Fee: Rs.50 plus applicable bank service charges per question.
- Refund: if an objection is found correct, the fee is refunded after deducting bank charges, to the account you paid from.
- Payment: Maestro, MasterCard, VISA and RuPay debit or credit cards, UPI or UPI QR codes, and net or mobile banking.
- Procedure: the detailed steps are inside the link. Nothing is entertained after the deadline, and the RRBs' decision is final and binding.
The fee was also ₹50 per question for CEN 01/2024.
RRB ALP marking scheme: how to calculate your score
Under CEN 01/2026, CBT-I has 75 questions of 1 mark each in 60 minutes. One third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer, so your score is correct answers minus wrong answers ÷ 3. For example, 60 correct and 12 wrong gives 60 − 4 = 56 out of 75. The minimum is 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST. CBT-I only screens: up to 15 times the vacancies of each RRB go to CBT-II, on normalised marks, and CBT-I marks are not counted in the final panel.
CBT-II has the same negative marking and two parts. Part-A has 100 questions in 90 minutes, and Part-B has 75 questions in 60 minutes. Part-B is only qualifying (35%), and only Part-A marks count. The CBAT has no negative marking; you need a T-score of at least 42 in each test battery. The final merit list combines Part-A marks and CBAT scores in a 50:50 ratio.
What happens after the objection window
The RRBs decide on the objections and then publish the stage result, which is a shortlist for the next stage. For CEN 01/2025, the CBT-I result of 12 June 2026 let candidates see their score card by logging in with their Registration No. and Date of Birth up to 27 June 2026. The CBT-II result of 1 October 2026 kept the score card open up to 16 October 2026. That notice also said candidates above the Part-A cut-off who had not qualified in Part-B were not shortlisted.
