RRB Group D Answer Key

The RRB Group D answer key is published after the CBT on the RRB exam portal, along with the candidate response sheet and question paper. Candidates get a limited window to raise objections against any question or answer, on payment of a non-refundable fee per question challenged.

How to download the RRB Group D answer key

1. Open the answer key link for the CEN on the RRB exam portal.
2. Log in with your registration number and date of birth / password.
3. View your recorded responses alongside the provisional answer key.
4. Download or print a copy for your records before the window closes.

How to raise an objection

If you believe a key answer is wrong, you can submit a challenge within the objection window. In the previous cycle the fee was ₹50 per question challenged, non-refundable, payable online. Objections must be supported by a credible reference — a challenge with no substantiation is dismissed.

Where a challenge is upheld, the correction is applied to every candidate's evaluation, not only the person who raised it. If a question is dropped, marks are redistributed as per the RRB's stated policy for that cycle.

Calculating your expected score

Use the response sheet and key together, and remember the marking scheme:

• +1 for each correct answer
• −1/3 for each wrong answer
• 0 for unattempted questions

So a candidate with 70 correct and 20 wrong scores 70 − 6.67 = 63.33 marks, not 70. Because shortlisting uses normalised marks across shifts, your raw score is an indicator rather than a final number.
