RRB Group D Answer Key 2026: CEN 09/2025 Objection, Rs.50 Fee

The RRB Group D answer key for CEN 09/2025 was released on 7 September 2026 at 20:00, and the objection window closed at 23:55 on 17 September 2026. Candidates used a link on the RRB websites to view their questions, responses and the answer keys, and to object to any question, option or key. The RRBs have not posted a separate final answer key. In the previous cycle no final answer key was posted either: after the objection window, the RRBs issued a CCAA modification-window notice on 16 June 2026 and then the CBT result on 1 July 2026.

RRB Group D answer key 2026: objection rules

• Fee: Rs.50 plus applicable bank service charges per question.
• Refund: if an objection is found correct, the fee is refunded after deducting bank charges, to the account you paid from.
• Payment: Maestro, MasterCard, VISA or RuPay debit and credit cards, UPI or UPI QR codes, and net or mobile banking.
• Deadline: 17.09.2026 at 23:55 hrs. Nothing is entertained after that, and the RRBs' decision on objections is final and binding.

How to calculate your RRB Group D score

The CBT has 100 questions of 1 mark each in 90 minutes (120 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates): General Science 25, Mathematics 25, General Intelligence and Reasoning 30, and General Awareness and Current Affairs 20. One third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer, so your score is correct answers minus wrong answers ÷ 3. For example, 70 correct and 20 wrong gives 70 − 6.67 = 63.33 marks.

Compare that with the minimum for shortlisting: 40% for UR and EWS, and 30% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC and ST. For PwBD candidates this can be relaxed by 2 marks if there are not enough PwBD candidates for their reserved vacancies. Because the CBT ran in multiple sessions, shortlisting uses normalised marks, not raw scores. For CEN 08/2024, the scorecard showed both a percentile score and normalised marks.

What happens after the objection window

The RRBs decide on the objections and then publish the CBT result, which shortlists candidates for PET at three times the community-wise vacancies. For CEN 09/2025, one step is still open. CCAA candidates trained in Railway establishments who appeared in the CBT but had not given their NCVT marks in the application can enter them from 22.10.2026 (00:01 hrs) to 28.10.2026 (23:59 hrs). Those marks carry weightage in the final merit list, and candidates who fail to fill them in get zero NCVT weightage.
