No RRB NTPC answer key has been released for CEN 06/2026 (Graduate) or CEN 07/2026 (Undergraduate), because CBT-1 has not been held: the Graduate CBT-1 is tentatively planned to start in the fourth week of December 2026, and no Undergraduate CBT date has been announced. The RRBs do not publish a stand-alone PDF key; after each CBT they open a link on the RRB websites where you see the questions, your recorded responses and the keys, and can raise objections in the same window.
When will the RRB NTPC 2026 answer key come out?
Expect it shortly after the last CBT-1 shift. In the 2025 cycle, Graduate CBT-1 ended on 27 March 2026 and the key link opened on 6 April 2026; Graduate CBT-2 was held on 10 July 2026 and its link opened on 15 July 2026; Undergraduate CBT-1 ended on 20 June 2026 and its link opened on 27 June 2026. Each window stayed open for six to eight days and closed at 23:55 hrs on the last day.
How to challenge the RRB NTPC answer key
- Fee: ₹50 plus applicable bank service charges per question challenged.
- Refund: if your objection is found correct, the fee for that question is refunded, less bank charges, to the account you paid from.
- Payment: online only, by debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.
- Procedure: the detailed procedure and guidelines are given inside the objection link on the RRB websites.
- Deadline: no representation on questions, options or keys is entertained after the window closes, and the RRBs' decision on objections is final and binding.
RRB NTPC marking scheme: how to work out your score
Each question carries 1 mark and 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer; unattempted questions score zero. CBT-1 has 100 questions (General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, General Intelligence and Reasoning 30) in 90 minutes. CBT-2 has 120 questions (50, 35 and 35) in 90 minutes. Scribe-eligible PwBD candidates get 120 minutes.
To compute your raw score, count correct answers and subtract one-third of the wrong ones. For example, 72 correct and 18 wrong in CBT-1 gives 72 − 6 = 66 out of 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST: 40, 30 and 25 marks in CBT-1, and 48, 36 and 30 marks in CBT-2. PwBD candidates may get a 2-mark relaxation if there are not enough PwBD candidates for reserved vacancies.
Your raw score is not the score used for merit. When a CBT runs in multiple sessions, shortlisting uses normalised marks. For CBT-2, the RRBs shortlist 15 times the community-wise vacancies of each RRB from CBT-1 merit, so whether you qualify depends on your RRB's cut-off, not on a fixed score.
What happens after the objection window?
In past cycles the RRBs have not posted a separate final answer key; the revised keys show up through the result. The revised keys show up through the result: when the CBT-1 result for CEN 06/2025 was declared, candidates could log in with their Registration Number and Date of Birth from 17:00 hrs on 12 June 2026 to see their score and qualifying status, and their question paper with the correct answer marked among the four options. These links are time-bound: the CEN 07/2025 CBT-1 score link was active only from 26 August 2026 to 5 September 2026, so save a copy while it is live.
