SBI SO 2021 Tie-breaking Criteria
As the result for both the posts is declared in merit list form, there are chances that some candidates secure the same score. Then the tie breaking criteria prescribed by the Bank is taken under consideration.
If the marks of more than one candidate are same at the cutoff marks in the merit list (final), then such candidates are ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order. It means that if two candidates have the same score, then the one who is older in age is ranked above in the merit list.
SBI SO 2021 Selection Procedure
The selection process for SBI SO includes two stages – shortlisting and interview. Thereafter a final merit list is prepared. Candidates can check the selection process for each stage below:
Selection for SBI SO 2021 is based on two stages:
- Computer based test (CBT)
- Interview
Computer based test– The written examination will consist of two papers, one objective type and one subjective type. Objective type paper is of 120 mins with three sections Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning and General awareness/Marketing Skills. Subjective type paper is an English testing exam. Candidates are required to qualify in each of the objective test and descriptive tests. The minimum passing marks will be as decided by the Bank. The tests will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English except English Knowledge Test which will be in English only.
Interview- To be eligible for being short-listed for the interview, candidates have to pass cut-off marks to be decided by the Bank. Number of candidates as decided by the Bank are called for Interview based on performance in online written test. Interview carries a maximum of 25 marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview is as decided by the Bank.
