State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officer. SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2017 is conducted for the candidates seeking job opportunities in SBI for the concerned post. Selection Process – Selection for these posts will be by shortlisting and interview. For Deputy Manager (Law) will be on the basis of online written test and interview.

SBI Specialist Officer (SO) 2017 Application Process

Eligible candidates need to fill the application form for the concerned posts which is available on the official website of SBI i.e. sbi.co.in/careers/ongoing-recruitment.html or bank.sbi/careers. The application form is available through the online mode only; no other mode is given to the candidates. Candidates need to register themselves on above-mentioned websites.

Candidates need to fill the correct details in the application form along with the uploading of scanned images of photograph and signature. After filling the form, the candidates are required to pay the application fee which is Rs. 600/- for General and OBC (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST) through online mode using debit/credit cards/Internet Banking. Lastly, the candidates need to take a printout of the E-receipt for the future reference.

SBI Specialist Officer Eligibility Criteria 2017

Before applying, the candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the conducting body. The eligibility criteria for the candidates are as follows:

SBI Specialist Officer (SO) 2017 Selection Process

CRPD/SCO/2017-18/05

The selection process of the SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2017 is on the basis of shortlisting and Interview. Candidates are duly requested to send the filled-in application along with all the important documents such as ID proof, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications Certificates, Experience Certificates, Current Pay Slip, Form 16/ITR- 2016-17, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PWD (OH) Certificate and a brief resume to the following address:

Deputy Manager (Law): The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 11.11.2017. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Thane / Navi
Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres.

Deputy General Manager (Law): Selection will be based on shortlisting and personal interview. Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted, based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability, for interview. The qualifying marks in interviews will be decided by the Bank. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the Interview only Note:- In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks[common marks at cut-off point], such
candidate will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in select list as well as in wait list (if maintained).

General Instructions for the Candidates

  • Candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the post applied for a list of the eligible candidates will be published at a later stage.
