SSC CHSL Exam 2022 Syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission provides the official syllabus for the SSC CHSL exam in its notification on the official site (ssc.nic.in). Candidates can use the list of books given in this article to understand the topics which are prescribed by the Commission in the syllabus.   • Tier-I syllabus
  1. English Language: Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Idioms and Phrases, One-word substitution, Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling, Comprehension.
  2. General Intelligence: It consists of verbal and non-verbal series. Questions consisting of semantic and figural analogy, word association, coding, and decoding are asked in the exam. 
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: Systems of Numbers, Algebra, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Mensuration, Geometry, Statistical Charts, Trigonometry.
  4. General Awareness: Questions about current affairs and the social background of India and neighboring countries are asked in the exam.
  • Tier-II syllabus

A pen and paper-based paper that consists of writing a full-length essay of 200 to 250 words and a letter/application of approximately 150 to 200 words.

SSC CHSL Preparation Tips

While studying the entire syllabus of the exam is important, it’s essential to have a proper strategy for your studies to use your time in an effective manner. We have provided preparation tips for candidates to study for SSC CHSL 2022 exam properly.

About SSC CHSL Exam

The Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit data entry operators, lower division clerks, and postal assistants.
