SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2022 – The Staff Selection Commission of India prescribes the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2022 on the official website, ssc.nic.in. The SSC CHSL examination consists of three stages: Computer-based examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II), and Skill Test (Tier-III). Once candidates pass all the tiers of the examination, they can get recruited for the posts of Lower Division Clerk, Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various government departments of India. The exam pattern of the SSC CHSL exam is released through a notification by the Commission on the official site, ssc.nic.in. SSC CHSL Exam 2022 Syllabus

  • Tier-I syllabus
  1. English Language: Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Idioms and Phrases, One-word substitution, Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling, Comprehension.
  2. General Intelligence: It consists of verbal and non-verbal series. Questions consisting of semantic and figural analogy, word association, coding, and decoding are asked.
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: Number Systems, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Statistical Charts.
  4. General Awareness: Questions regarding current affairs and the social background of India and neighboring countries are asked.
  • Tier-II syllabus

A pen and paper-based paper consisting of writing an Essay of 200-250 words and a letter or an application of approximately 150-200 words.

About SSC CHSL Exam

The Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit data entry operators, lower division clerks, and postal assistants. The exam comprises an objective-type paper, a descriptive paper, and a typing test. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi language medium.
