The result will be declared on the official website (ssc.nic.in) as per the schedule. The marks of the candidate is obtained on the basis of final answer key produced after accepting and making changes wherever required regarding the challenges against the answer key. Then the marks are normalized using the normalization procedure carried out by the SSC. The final normalized marks are compared with the respective cut off and according to that the qualified or not qualified status of the candidate is reflected on the SSC CHSL result 2019. Those who qualify as per result of tier 1 will be able to appear in tier 2.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment to posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators is done through Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam. The Selection to the posts is done through a two tier process. Out of this Tier I is already undergoing. Only those candidates who qualify the tier I can download the admit card of SSC CHSL 2019 tier II and appear in it. Details of Tier II are as follows.
Tier II
The tier 2 is to be conducted for those candidates who qualifies the tier 1 exam. Tier 2 is different in pattern and the nature of the exam and is explained in detail below.
Nature of Test: The test is Descriptive in nature and candidate need to write the answers in the test.
Duration: The duration of the exam is of 1 hour.
Mode: The mode of the paper is offline (pen and paper mode).
Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying marks required in tier 2 is 33%.
Total Marks: The maximum marks assigned to the test is 100 marks.
Pattern: Candidates have to attempt question on essay writing of 200-250 words, letter / application writing of 15-200 words.
