Marking Scheme for SSC GD
SSC GD is an online exam which consists of multiple choice-based questions. The exam consists of a total of 100 questions. The questions are divided into four sections- General Knowledge & General Awareness, General Intelligence & Logical Reasoning, English/Hindi & Elementary Mathematics. Each section consists of 25 questions.
The marking scheme of the SSC GD exam is discussed below:

Based on the marking scheme candidates should attempt the questions carefully. Since the negative marking scheme is applicable, every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
How to calculate scores from SSC GD Answer key?
The provisional key released by SSC gives the tool to calculate the tentative score of the candidates. Candidates can match their responses to the provisional answer key and calculate their estimated score. The answer key is made available on SSC’s official website which can be downloaded in pdf format. Every right answer award 1 mark t0, while 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answer.No marks, are deducted for the unanswered question.

Step-1 Visit the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in
Step-2 As you click on the link or visit the SSC website, the homepage of SSC will appear on your screen. On the home page find the “Answer Key” tab.
Step-3 Once you click on the tab for Answer key, you will be directed to the Answer key page. Click on “SSC GD Answer key”.
Step-4 As you click on the link a login window will open. You need to login using your Application Number/registered id and password.

How to raise Objections against SSC GD Answer Key?
If candidates find any inconsistency or discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they can raise their objection. SSC after release of the provisional answer key, provides a time window during which candidates can fill their objections. SSC charges an objection fee of Rs. 100 for every objection raised.

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC GD exam for recruitment to general duty posts to central defense forces. The posts include constable and rifleman. The exam most commonly is also called the SSC GD Constable exam. The exam is conducted on a nationwide scale through an online test. The SSC GD is conducted to select the eligible personnel for the central defense forces-Border Security Force (BSF), the NIA, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF),the Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Candidates with education qualification upto class 10th/matriculation are eligible to give the exAM. After passing the written exam, candidates have to clear the stage of the physical test and medical examination for the final selection.
