OTET Result 2026: Declared 2 September, Certificate, OMR Copy

The OTET 2026 result was declared on 2 September 2026, for the examination held on 5 July 2026. It is on the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha's OTET portal, bseoexams.org, where qualified candidates can download their digital certificate and those who did not qualify can view their OMR copy.

How do I check the OTET 2026 result?

• Result search: enter your Application/Registration number (OTET-26-XXXXXX), the roll number and the paper (Paper I or Paper II), then answer the security sum. Use the Paper-I roll number for Paper I and the Paper-II roll number for Paper II.
• Account login: registered e-mail or mobile number with password; there is also an option to log in with date of birth.
• Help: technical issues go to [email protected] with your application ID and roll number.

What does the OTET result mean?

OTET is one written test in two papers — Paper I for those who want to teach classes I to V and Paper II for classes VI to VIII — and the result shows whether you are "TET pass" in each paper you took.

The weight given to OTET scores in teacher recruitment is decided by the Government from time to time. OTET applies to Government, private aided and private unaided schools in Odisha; for private unaided schools candidates may use the Central TET (CTET) instead. A candidate who has qualified can take OTET again to improve the score.

Correcting data before the certificate

Before the result was declared, the Board allowed OTET 2026 candidates to correct their data from 17 to 24 August 2026 (Notification 2331 of 14 August 2026), on a fine of ₹200 and production of original records at the Head Office. For Special OTET (SOTET) 2025, it issued a separate notification on correction of data before issuing certificates.

How long do OTET results take?

On 9 April 2026, in letter No. 933, the Board sent the Directorate of Elementary Education the exam and result dates of every OTET since 2012. The recent cycles, with OTET 2026 added from the Board's website:

After the result

For OTET 2025, the Board published the result, OMR copies and digital certificates on 12 February 2026. For OTET 2026, the digital certificate and OMR copy are available after logging in to the same portal. The qualification is then used in teacher recruitment for classes I to VIII, where the Government decides the weight of the OTET score.
