Compilation of UPSC CMS Result 2020
There are 2 stages in the UPSC CMS exam. Stage one contains 2 paper; paper 1 and paper 2 and the second stage is the personality interview. CMS Result for each stage is declared separately. Marking Scheme of UPSC CMS 2020
The marking of the paper is necessary for the candidates to know. It gives a rough idea to the candidates about the structure of the paper.
Mode: The mode of the exam is online for both paper 1 and paper 2.
Type: Both papers of stage 1 is objective type.
Negative marking: 1/3rd of the positive mark of the question.
Marks: Both the paper is of 250 marks each and a total of 500 marks.
What happens after UPSC CMS Result 2020?
Candidates must take note of this that their admission at all stages of examination is provisional. It will only be finalized after verification of the documents. This can be done before or after the CBT test or personality test/interview. Below they can find the list of the documents prescribed by the commission.
1. Certificate of Age.
2. Certificate of Educational Qualification.
3. Certificate in support of a claim to belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Economically Weaker Sections and Other Backward Classes where applicable.
4. Certificate in support of claim for age/fee concession, where applicable.
5. Certificate in support of being Person with Benchmark Disability (where applicable).
Note: All the documents should be self-attested.
Immediately after the CBT, qualified candidates will be notified by the commission to submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online. They have to send this form with each page signed with self-attested copies of the above-mentioned certificates.
UPSC CMS 2020 Interview
After the commencement of document verification round, candidates are called for the interview round. Interview round or personality test is conducted for 100 marks. This round is organised to check the general knowledge and ability of the candidates in the field of their academic study. Also, through personality test to assess the candidate’s intellectual curiosity, the balance of judgment and alertness of mind, critical powers of assimilation, the integrity of character, the ability for social cohesion, initiative and capability for leadership.
About UPSC CMS
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the examination for Combined Medical Services (CMS) for the post of medical officers. Candidate must have passed the final written and practical examination of MBBS. Also, applicants age must not exceed 32 years. The selection of candidates for the post of CMS is done in 2 stages – online examination and interview round. Final selection of candidates is done only after the document verification round.
