Photo and Signature Specification
The candidates need to upload passport size photo and signature in a prescribed format in the UPTET application form. Below are the specifications that the candidates must consider for uploading the photo and signature in the application form.

- The signature must be done and scanned in black ink on white paper only.
- Signature should be done by the applicant only.
- The passport size photo must be recent only.
- Candidates must not wear anything on their head or face such as cap, or dark glasses. The face of the candidate must be clearly visible. However, any religious wear will be allowed until it does not the whole face.
- The candidate must look straight in the camera and his eyes must be clearly visible in the photograph.
- Make sure that there is no red-eye effect.
How to Fill the UPTET Application Form 2021?
The UPTET application form 2021 will be made available in online format on the official website of UPTET i.e. updeled.gov.in. Following are the steps to fill the application form for UPTET 2021:
1st Step: Go to the official website of UPTET. Candidates can click on the direct link for the website provided on this page.
2nd Step: Here, click on the “UP Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET)” tab and click on the button UPTET under it.
3rd Step: Now, click on the “UPTET Registration” button under the Registration tab to go to the registration dashboard.
4th Step: The registration dashboard will appear on the screen. Here click on the “Click” button in front of the “Candidate Registration Part-1”. Refer to the image given here.
5th Step: Registration Form: The instructions to fill the registration and application form will appear on the screen. Read the intructions carefully and then click on “Click Here of Registration button” after clicking on the check box.
After this, the registration form will appear on the screen. Fill the registration form. Write the phone no. and mail ID that belongs to candidates and is currently available for OTP.
6th Step: Further, click on the submit button.
7th Step: Now, an OTP will be received in the mobile no. Check the OTP and verify the registration by clicking on the Verify Registration Button.
8th Step: As soon as candidates verify the registration, they will be logged in. Now, click on the button to fill the education and exam details.
9th Step: The application form to fill the exam and education details will appear on the screen. Fill the details and click on the submit button.
10th Step: Payment of Application Fee: Now, the candidates need to pay the application fee. Click on the button in front of the application fee. The gateway to pay applicpation fee will appear. Pay the application fee through debit card, credit card or net banking.
11th step: After the application fee is paid, the candidates have to fill the address details for the application form. Click on the button given in front of the “Fill Correspondence Address Details” and then further upload the photo and signature for the application form and click on the submit button.
12th step: After the application fee is submitted, the candidate must print the application form and keep it for future reference. For doing that, candidates have to click on the button in front of “print final application form”.
Note: The correction facility for the application form may not be available. Therefore, the candidates must recheck all the information before clicking the submit button every time. Any wrong information in the form will lead to cancellation of the UPTET application.

UPTET Admit Card 2021
The admit card for UPTET exam releases 10 days before the exam on the official website. The candidate requires registration no. and date of birth to download the admit card. Aspirants must carry photo ID proof and ballpoint pen to the exam centre along with the admit card to the exam centre. They can not carry anything else other than these items to the exam hall. The address of the exam centre will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card only. There will instructions in the admit card that the candidates must read and abide in the exam hall. No admit card is sent to the candidates individually through post or mail.
Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET) started in the year 2011 under the right of children to free education and compulsory education act. However, the exam for UPTET was not conducted in the year 2012. Till now, approximately 9 lakh candidates students have cleared the exam. But only 1.5 lakh candidates got a job on the basis of this exam. UPTET exam is conducted for the primary and upper primary teaching recruitments this year. The candidates applying for primary have to appear in paper-1 and for upper primary must appear in paper-2. The primary teacher teaches subjects to class 1st to 5th and the upper primary teacher teaches the students of class 6th to 8th.
