Uttarakhand Civil Judge 2019: Final Result, Cut Off, Marks

Uttarakhand Civil Judge 2019 – Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the final result of Civil Judge 2019. The interview was held from September 17 to 20, 2020. Earlier, the result of Uttarakhand Judicial Service Civil Judge mains Exam-2019 has been declared on the official website, ukpsc.gov.in. The result is available in pdf form along with the cut off and marks obtained by the candidates. The commission is conducting the test to fill 15 vacancies under the post of Civil Judge (JD) post. The candidates are shortlisted for the post of Civil Judge on the basis o-f their performance in the Pre-exam, main exam, computer test, interview. Uttarakhand Civil Judge Result 2019

The result for Uttarakhand Civil Judge 2019 is released online in the pdf format. It consists of the details of the candidates who qualified the test by obtaining the minimum cut off marks. Qualifiers in the preliminary written test are then eligible to appear for the Main exam, practical test and interview. Finally, a final list of qualified candidates is released on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary test, Main exam, Practical Examination (Computer) and Interview.

Uttarakhand Civil Judge Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Civil Judge post. The age limit criteria and educational qualification required for the given below are mentioned below:

Age Limit – 22-35 years (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)

Educational Qualification

  1. Aspirants should hold a Bachelor’s degree of law from a University established by law in Uttarakhand or by the other University of India recognized for this purpose by the Governor
  2. You must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri script
  3. Should have a basic knowledge of Computer Operation.

Exam Pattern for Basic Knowledge of computer Operation Practical Examination

It is a one-hour duration test of maximum 100 marks. It is a practical test in which each question shall have five actions to be performed on the system each having four marks. The printout of the output shall be taken and given for evaluation.

Uttarakhand Civil Judge 2019 Syllabus

It is important that a candidate must prepare for the test as per the syllabus specified by the Commission. The syllabus consists of the important topics which a candidate should prepare for the test. Check the syllabus for the Preliminary and Main exam here.

Syllabus for Preliminary Test

  1. General Knowledge – Questions from this section will be included from day to day happenings around India and the World, particularly in the legal spheres. The questions may relate mainly to international law, neutrality, recent legislation pronouncement particularly the Indian Constitution, law and development and legal aspects but it will not be confined to this only.
  2. Part II will consist of questions from Acts and Laws such as Transfer of Properties Act, Principle of Hindu Laws and Principle of Muslim Laws, Evidence Act, Code of Criminal Procedure, Indian Penal Code, Civil Procedure Code.

Syllabus for Main Test

  1. The Present Day – It is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of the reactions to what is happening in India and the world generally at the present day, particularly in the legal sphere and also his power of expression in English. Questions in this section are in the form of essay related mainly to jurisprudence, international law, neutrality, recent legislation, particularly- Indian constitutional law and developments, especially on their legal aspect and so on but will not be confined to them.
  2. Language – In this section, you will be given a passage in English and you will have to translate it into the ordinary language spoken in the courts, using the Devnagri Script (30 marks); Likewise a passage of Hindi will be required to be translated in ordinary English language. (30 marks). Furthermore, there will be English Précis writing also of 40 marks.
  3. Law: Paper I – Substantive Law – The questions in this section will be restricted to the field covered by the law of contracts; the law of partnership; the law concerning casements and torts; the law relating to transfer of property; including the principles of equity specially applicable thereto; the principles of equity, with special reference to the Law of Trust and specific relief. Hindu Law and Mohammedan Law
  4. Law: Paper II – Evidence and Procedure – Questions in this section are covered by the Law of Evidence, The Criminal Procedure Code and Code of Civil Procedure, including the principles of pleading. The questions set will relate mainly to practical matters; such as the framing of charges and issues the methods of dealing with the evidence of witness, the writing of judgment and the conduct of cases generally but will not be restricted to them.
  5. Law: Paper III- Revenue & Criminal – U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act (as applicable in Uttarakhand) and Indian Penal Code

Few important Instructions for the Candidates:

  • For the Main Examination, in the Present Day section, candidates should note that the Credit will be given both for substance and expression; conversely deduction will be made for bad expression, including faults of grammar, misuse of words etc.

Syllabus for Basic Knowledge of computer Operation Practical Examination

For the practical examination, the paper shall be set from the given syllabus broadly taking one question from each i.e. –

  • Windows and internet
  • M.S. – word
  • M.S. – Access
  • M.S. – Excel
  • M.S.

Uttarakhand Civil Judge 2019 Test Center

Candidates need to fill in the test center of their preference at the time of filling in details in the Application Form. The preliminary exam is proposed to be conducted at the following test cities:

  1. Dehradun
  2. Haldwani
  3. Haridwar

Qualifiers in the Preliminary test will then have to appear for the Main exam at Haridwar.

Candidates should use the UKPSC Civil Judge Answer Key 2019 by adding and deducting the marks. With the release of the answer key, the candidates can submit an objection, if they are not satisfied with the option marked in it by online mode.
