The WB Police Recruitment Board has sent messages to the candidates. West Bengal Forest Guard Exam Hall Ticket/Call Letter will not be sent via post, e-mail or any other medium to the candidates. Despite it all, it should be noted that the candidates from Darjeeling and Kalimpong district have the privilege to acquire printed copy of the admit card from local Police Station/Office of the Commissioner of Police, Siliguri/Office of the Superintendent of Police Darjeeling/Kalimpong.
The Darjeeling and Kalimpong candidates can also go to the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Darjeeling Division/Kurseong Division/Baikunthapur Division, Hakimpara, Siliguri and the office of the District Forest Manager, Kalimpong to get the West Bengal Forest Guard Admit Card. It is a paper based test. This written test will be a qualifying Competitive Written Examination for candidates who are considered eligible provisionally. The exam will carry 90 marks in total.
There will be total 90 questions of 1 mark each. The Written Examination shall be completed in 60 minutes. The questions will constitute topics from General Awareness, English, and Mathematics till Madhyamik level, reasoning etc. There will be NEGATIVE MARKING of ¼th mark for every incorrect answer.
The Candidates who qualify this exam will move on to the next test i.e Physical standard test. There will be no marks for this test but it will decide whether the candidate can move to next Physical Efficiency Test. The practical tests will be of qualifying nature.
