How is WBPSC Clerk Result 2020 Calculated?
WBPSC Clerk result is announced on the official website of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal. Officials use the current marking scheme to calculate the score. Candidates get one mark for each correct answer in the objective test. Candidates are advised to not disclose their identity by writing names, roll no or putting any identifying marks. Doing so leads to a 10% reduction in the total marks of the candidate.
The merit list of shortlisted candidates is prepared on the basis of total marks in Part 1 and Part 2 tests, subject to successfully clearing the basic computer knowledge and typing test. WBPSC has the authority to fix the qualifying marks for all the stages of examination process.

WBPSC Clerk Recruitment 2020 Selection Procedure

Candidates selected on the basis of Part A and Part B tests are called for typing test. After the typing test, candidates have to appear for medical examination. WBPSC Clerk Recruitment 2020
Public Service Commission, West Bengal conducts a clerkship examination for the posts of lower division assistant or lower division clerk and posts similar to that. Recruitments are provided to vacant posts in the Secretariat, Directorates, District offices and regional offices under Govt. of West Bengal. It is a state-level exam conducted in two parts i.e, Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 exam is objective in nature while Part 2 exam is subjective.
