AFCAT Admit Card 2026: 02/2026 Admit Card and AFSB Call Letter

The AFCAT 02/2026 admit card could be downloaded from 4 August 2026 (1100 Hr) on afcat.edcil.co.in for the online exam held on 8 August 2026, so this stage is over and the result has been declared. Qualified candidates had to choose an AFSB date and venue on the same portal between 1700 hrs on 10 September and 2359 hrs on 14 September 2026 to generate their AFSB call-up letter.

How was the AFCAT 02/2026 admit card downloaded?

The AFCAT 02/2026 notification told AFCAT candidates to click "DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD" on afcat.edcil.co.in from 1100 Hr on 4 August 2026. The e-Admit Card is also sent to the registered e-mail ID, and none is sent by post. Logging in needs the User ID and Password created at registration; the AFCAT 02/2026 candidate login also asks for a captcha. Before the admit card, the IAF e-mails and texts an exam city intimation so candidates can plan travel; the portal states plainly that this is not the admit card.

What is printed on it and what to check

The admit card carries the candidate's Registration Number and Hall Ticket Number, which the IAF wants quoted in every query. Candidates must make sure the personal information on the front matches what they entered at registration and read the instructions printed on the rear. If the card cannot be downloaded or shows an error, the notification says to contact the AFCAT Query Cell immediately on 91-9513252077 or [email protected]; the AFCAT Cell answers Monday to Saturday, 0900 Hr to 1800 Hr. Without a printout of the e-Admit Card, nobody may sit the exam.

Exam-day rules for AFCAT 02/2026

• Schedule on 8 August 2026: reporting 0800 Hr, gate closing 0930 Hr, admit card, ID and biometric checks with photograph capture 0800 Hr to 0945 Hr, and the test from 1000 Hr to 1200 Hr. Nobody enters after verification begins at 0930 Hr.
• Carry: the e-Admit Card printout; the original Aadhaar Card (a photocopy is not accepted); a second original photo ID such as PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter Identity Card; and two passport size colour photographs, the same as the one uploaded, to be pasted, not stapled.
• The name on the Aadhaar Card and the second ID must match the Matriculation Certificate (Class X).
• Only a blue or black ballpoint pen is allowed. Calculators, phones, electronic watches, wristwatches, bracelets, wallets, goggles, jackets and food are among the banned items; carrying one is treated as unfair means, the candidature is cancelled and the candidate is debarred from future AFCAT exams.
• No scribe is allowed, and no one may leave the hall before the exam ends.

AFSB call-up letter for AFCAT 02/2026

The second-stage call letter is not posted; qualified candidates pick an AFSB date and venue on the portal to generate it. For AFCAT 02/2026, seat selection was open from 1700 hrs on 10 September 2026 till 2359 hrs on 14 September 2026, subject to the seats left, after which candidates download the call-up letter and mandatory forms. The boards are at Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), Varanasi (4 AFSB) and Guwahati (5 AFSB).

The call letter, together with the AFCAT admit card, is the authority to report to the board, and late comers, including those delayed by late trains, are not admitted. Bring the original Class X certificate and mark sheets, 10+2 and degree documents with two attested photocopies of each, and twenty passport size photographs. Requests to change the AFSB date go by e-mail to the AFSB centre that issued the call. The IAF also advises being able to run 1.6 km in 10 minutes and do 10 push ups and 3 chin ups before reporting.
