Procedure & Criteria for declaration of result

This will Comprise of following steps:

Step I:

Minimum marks to be obtained in SET for considering a candidate eligible for lectureship:

The candidates are required to obtain following minimum marks separately in Paper – I, Paper – II and Paper – III for consideration of result.

Step II :

Amongst those candidates who have cleared step-I, a general merit list will be prepared subject wise, Category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates. Another Merit List subject-wise and Category-wise will also be prepared in the same manner.

Step III:

Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step – II, will be declared SET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor.

It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria decided by SLET Commission (Moderation/Steering Committees) is final and binding. 

Merit list of all the candidates who secured the minimum qualifying marks in each Paper, and thus qualified for the Zone of consideration shall be prepared. Also a list of candidates coming under Zone of consideration shall be prepared subject-wise and category-wise (OBC/SC/ST/PH/VH) excluding those included in unreserved category. Top 15% candidates of this subject and Category-wise list have been declared pass in the test under Reserved Category.

For Persons with Disability (Visually Challenged candidates)

Thirty minutes extra time shall be provided separately for Paper – I and Paper – II, For Paper – III, forty five minutes extra time shall be provided. They will also be provided the services of a amanuensis who would be graduate in a subject other than that of the candidate. Those Persons with Disability (Physically Challenged) candidates who are not in a position to write in their own handwriting can also avail the services by making prior request (at least one week before the date of SET) in writing to the Co-ordinator of the SET conducting University. Extra time and facility of amanuensis would not be provided to other Persons with Disability (Physically Challenged) candidates.

The Answer Key of Paper I, II and III will be available in the SLET Commission’s website after 7 (seven) working days of the Test. Feedback if any, from the candidate for Answer-Key will be received up to 15 (fifteen) days from the date of uploading in the website.

The candidates who get the qualifying marks can get their marks in the SLET Commission’s website after 7 working days from the date of declaration of result.

Assam SLET Cutoff 2017

State Level Eligibility Test Commission Assam has been released the SLET cutoff after the entrance test. Candidates can check the cutoff 2017 on the official website or on this age below. Only those candidates who either score marks equal to cut off, or more than that, will be selected in Assam SLET 2017.
