- The Mains exam consists of 200 questions
- Each question carries of 1 mark. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks

RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test 2022
Aspirants who get selected after the Mains exam, need to go for another final test i.e. Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This test is conducted to check the proficiency of a candidate in the local language of the state, failing which will directly lead to rejection of that candidate. After this, only a few candidates get selected for the post of RBI assistant based on the number of vacancies.

About RBI Assistant
RBI Assistant Exam is a national level examination to recruit suitable candidates for the post of assistants in various RBI branches across the country. The exam is conducted in online mode and comprises three stages, Preliminary, Mains and LPT (Language Proficiency Test). Candidates who have completed their graduation and are not more than 28 years old are only eligible to apply for the RBI Assistant Exam.
