CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2016
The process of the CRPF Recruitment 2016 has commenced and CRPF Head Constable applications can filled online as per the schedule given below. The eligible candidates will be selected after qualifying the written exam and PST. The candidates must note that the CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2016 shall be held as per the schedule given below.

CRPF Head Constable Application Form 2016
The application for CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2016 shall be submitted only through an online facility provided by CRPF (www.crpfindia.com). The candidates are required to fill the CRPF online application form and pay the application fee within the last date as per the schedule.
Application Fee: For General / OBC – Rs 100. SC/ST/Women candidates/EX-Serviceman are exempted from paying fee.
CRPF Head Constable Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must read the eligibility criteria as prescribed by CRPF for the post of Head Constable. The detailed eligibility criteria are as follows.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years. (The crucial date for determining the age will be 05/05/2016, which is the closing date of application. Candidate should not have been born earlier than 06/05/1991 and not later than 05/05/1998).
Computer Skill: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. OR Hindi Typing with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.
Weight: Proportionate / Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards (For males and females).

CRPF Head Constable Selection Procedure
The candidates will have to appear in the sequence of examinations/tests for being selected for the CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2016. The complete process of selection is as follows.
#1 Physical Standard Test
The Physical Measurements and scrutiny of documents will be conducted by the BOO. The candidates, who have applied for the CRPF Recruitment in given duration and paid application fee, will be called to appear in PST. Candidates have to fulfill physical criteria as mentioned above. If the candidate is found to be within the prescribed standard, he/she will be forwarded to next selection process in continuation.
#2 Written Examination
The candidates, who qualify PST, will be called to appear in Written Examination. The CRPF written examination to be held at designated centers having one paper only carrying 225 marks consisting of following two parts.
Part I – Objective Type will consist of four sections viz. Language, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, Clerical Aptitude. Candidates will be at the discretion to attempt the language paper consisting of comprehension either in Hindi or English. The exam text will be different for Hindi language and English language. The aggregate qualifying marks will be 40% (80/200 marks) for General category and 35% (70/200 marks) for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Part II – Descriptive Type will consist of descriptive manner consisting of two questions i.e Essay writing of 15 marks which is to be written in about 150 words in Hindi or English and letter writing of 10 marks which is to be written in about 100 words in Hindi or English (Total 25 marks). Marks obtained by candidates in Part-II will be added in final merit list. Part-II will not have minimum qualifying marks.
#3 Skill Test
The candidates, who qualify PST, Scrutiny of documents and written examination, will be called to appear for the Skill test. They will be tested in typing test as mentioned in Para-4 (Skill Test) above. Skill test will be of qualifying nature and no marks will be awarded for skill test.
Each error (including spelling mistake, omission of word/punctuation mark, repeated word, word differing from the test/actual passage, word not in the passage, mixing-up of words, etc) will be counted as a mistake. Mistakes equaling to 5% of the words in the passage actually typed by the candidate will be allowed / permissible. For each mistake beyond 5% of the permissible limit, 10 words will be subtracted/deducted from the total words typed by the candidate for assessing actual typing speed.
Candidates may please note that NO Interview will be conducted for CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2016.
#4 Merit List
After completion of selection procedure, category wise merit lists namely General, SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen will be drawn separately. The merit list will be drawn on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in written test by the candidates.
The list of finally selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board of recruitment centres and also posted on CRPF website (www.crpfindia.com) as well as published in all leading newspapers followed by issue of an offer of appointment.
