Physical Measurements Standard

For Male Candidates

Height

• 165 cms
• Relaxation of 5 cm is provided for candidates who are residents of hilly areas – Garwalis, Kumanois, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and also for candidates belonging to states – Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Ladakh. Candidates who claim for this relaxation have to produce a (Hill area certificate) from a competent authority.   
• ST candidates
• Son of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi police personnel/ Multitasking Staff

Chest

• 78 – 82 cms (with a minimum of 4 cm expansion) 
• Releaxable by 5 cm for candidates who are residents of hilly areas – Garwalis, Kumanois, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and also for candidates belonging to states – Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Ladakh. Note:

• Aspirants who qualify the race will be eligible to appear in the long jump and then high jump. The long jump and high jump has to be cleared in any of the three chances given for each event. 
• Female candidates who are pregnant at the time of Physical endurance test will not be allowed to participate in the test. The test for them will be conducted after the period of confinement.
• A person with any disability are exempted from this test.
