The candidates are recommended to read and understand all the instructions to learn the recruitment process. The examination is held in two Phases, Phase I which is the Preliminary Exam. The second exam is Phase II which is the main exam, for which call letters will be sent after the declaration of result of Preliminary Examination (Phase I). Recruitment of Assistants in Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will be done as per the schedule mentioned below:

The recruitment is going to be held for EPFO Assistant Recruitment. With the help of the table provided below candidate will be able to know the vacancy according to the category.

Various Categories provided under Person with Disability are as follows:
Category A – Visual Disability,
Category B – Hearing Disability,
Category C – Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy
cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy,
Category D –  Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and
mental illness,
Category E – Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a)
to (d) including deaf –blindness.

EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

Age Limit: Must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on the closing date for online registration of the application. Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below: (Both dates inclusive).

Age relaxation: 

• SC/ST up to 5 years,
• OBC –NCL up to 3 years
• Employees of Central Government & departmental candidates i.e employees of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization.

• Person with Disability(PwD):

If a candidate is eligible for a relaxation of age on more than one ground, he/she would be accorded the highest of the age relaxations for which he/she is eligible.

Educational Eligibility: 

Degree from a recognized university or equivalent, as on the closing date for online registration of the application.

Note:

1. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed Educational / Professional qualification should not apply.
2. Recognized University means i) a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or an Act of State Legislature in India or ii) an educational institute established by an Act of Parliament or declared to a Deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 (3 of 1956).

EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 Application Form

The application form for EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 releases online on the official website of EPFO i.e http://www.epfindia.gov.in. Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will be conducting an Online Examination on 30 and 31 July, 2019 for Recruitment to the post of Assistant and invites On-Line Applications for recruitment to the post. Dates for submission of On-Line Application Form are from May 30, 2019 to 25th June 2019. No other mode of application will be accepted. To register application, choose the tab “Click here for Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id.

A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the final Submit Button.

EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 Admit Card/Call Letter

Candidates have to visit the EPFO’s website for downloading call letters for online test. Intimation for downloading call letter is sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter to download. The candidate is required to use Registration Number/Roll Number, and Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter. EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 Exam Pattern

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

• Phase –I is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
• The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I.
• If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions.

Phase II – Main Examination

• The marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for final selection.
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
• The descriptive paper will be completely online, i.e. the questions will be displayed on the screen and the candidates will have to type the answers using the keyboard. The descriptive paper will be conducted online immediately after completion of the online objective test of Phase-II Main Examination.
