Pay Scale
(i) For Officers (Scale-I)- Candidate who will join the Bank as Officer in Scale I will be offered the following pay scale- 23,700 – 980/7 – 30,560 – 1145/2 – 32,850 – 1310/7 – 42,020. In addition to that, DA, HRA, CCA will be paid + Medical Aid, Hospitalization Scheme, Leave Fare Concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.
(ii) For Clerks- Candidate who will join the Bank as Clerk will be offered the following pay scale-11,765 – 655/3 – 13,730 – 815/3 – 16175 – 980/4 – 20,095 – 1145/7 – 28110 – 2120/1 – 30,230 – 1310/1 – 31,540. In addition to that, DA, HRA, CCA will be paid + Medical Aid, Hospitalization Scheme, Leave Fare Concession, retirement benefits and other perquisites will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.
Exam Pattern
The test will be conducted in Online Mode. Candidates applying for Officer post will get 150 questions of 150 marks in total. The test must be completed in 90 minutes. There will be 6 sections comprising questions ranging from Digital Banking, Verbal Ability, Logical Aptitude etc.
Candidates applying for Clerk post will get 90 questions of 90 marks in total. The test must be completed in 60 minutes. Questions will be from questions ranging from Digital Banking, Verbal Ability, Logical Aptitude,General, Socio-economic & Banking awareness, Quantitative/ Numerical Ability and Computer Awareness.

Psychometric Test
The Online test will be followed by a Psychometric test which will not be more than 20 minutes of duration. The candidates can expect a questionnaire in the test on various reasoning sections which require putting into play simple plain logic to come to a conclusion along with implementing deep cognitive reasoning to arrive at solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to apply must take care of the following conditions before they apply. Bank will not be responsible for application rejection if conditions are not met by the candidates.
(A) Age Limit
For Officer – Candidates should not be more than 26 years of age as on 01 July 2017. An individual should have born on or after 02 July 1991.
For Clerk – Candidates should not be more than 24 years of age as on 01 July 2017. Individual should have born on or after 02 July 1993.
(B) Educational Qualifications
- For Officer- Undergraduate degree with minimum 60% marks + 60% marks in SSC or equivalent exam + 60% marks in 12th class in regular mode only (for all degrees).
- For Clerk- Undergraduate degree with minimum 60% marks (regular mode)
(C) Nationality
An Indian national is allowed to apply only.
(D) Domicile Requirement
- Officer– candidate residing anywhere in India can apply
- Clerk- candidate must be a local resident of Assam, Maharashtra, Karnataka, New Delhi/ NCR or Telangana.

Before you apply, create a valid email id and registered mobile number. Application form can be filled in online mode from 23 August 2017 but before 04 September 2017. Photo Uploading- Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature.
Examination Fee
To complete the form, examination fee is as per the category of the candidate he/she belongs. An extra 18% for GST will be charged as well.

Federal Bank 2017 Recruitment Call letter
Call letter for Online Aptitude Test will be available on the official website. Candidates will receive the intimation through SMS/ Email. You must provide Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth to download the call letter. After downloading the Federal Bank 2017 Call Letter, past a recent passport size photograph. You must carry the following items to the test center:-
- Call letter
- Photo identity proof
- Xerox of call letter
Exam Centre
The test will be conducted in different test centres allocated by the bank as per number of applicants applying for the post. The test will be held in the following cities

(B) Clerk- Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Belgaum, Mysore, Guwahati, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Nasik, Mangalore, and New Delhi.
Biometric Data
Candidates appearing for the test may have to undergo a biometric data which means that the impression of your thumb will be captured electronically. Candidates must ensure that their hands are clean for the same purpose.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in the (i) Online Aptitude Test, (ii) Group Discussion and (iii) Personal Interview. Online Test will be followed by a Psychometric Test (20 minutes duration). The test will have a questionnaire. Each stage is of qualifying nature. ONly upon getting shortlisted in the former stage, the candidates will proceed to later stage. Intimation conveying advance/ postponement/ rescheduling of interview dates/ change in centre and venue will be alerted through the notification which will be published on the website of the bank at federalbank.co.in Selected candidates will be paid the offered amount.
Probation Period
- Officer – Candidates selected as officers will be on probation for a period of 2 years.
- Clerk – Candidates selected as clerks will be on probation for a period of 6 months.
