JAIIB Exam 2021: After postponing the IIBF’s Junior Associate (JAIIB) 2021 exam earlier, IIBF has released the revised dates for conducting the May 2021 and November 2021 exams on the official website iifb.org.in. JAIIB 2021 May session exams are scheduled to be held on August 28 & 29 and September 05, 2021. The November 2021 exams are scheduled to be held on November 07, 14 and 21, 2021. While registrations for the May 2021 exam are already over, online registrations for the November 2021 exams are scheduled to start from September 01, 2021. The last date to register for the JAIIB 2021 November exams is September 07, 2021 (without paying late fees). JAIIB 2021 is a flagship course for banking professionals. Eligibility Criteria for JAIIB Exam 2021
JAIIB exam is not open to all candidates. It is a professional course offered by the IIBF to selected candidates only. As such, the eligibility conditions are indicated in the rules of the exam. Read on to know more.
- There is no restriction on the upper age limit.
- Must be an ordinary member of the institute
- Candidates must have passed the Class 12th or an equivalent exam.
Who is a member of the IIBF?
Any banking professional working in the banking and finance industry are eligible to apply for IIBF membership. However, the employing organization must also be an Institutional member of IIBF.
The institute can allow candidates belonging to clerical or supervisory staff cadre to appear in the exam under recommendations by the Manager of the bank. In such cases, these candidates are exempted from the qualification of class 12. However, the subordinate staff of recognized organizations in the B&F industry, must be members of the IIBF and possess other eligibility conditions to apply for the JAIIB exam.
How to apply for JAIIB Exam 2021?
IIBF JAIIB 2021 application form is available on the official website of the institute. Online applications for the exam can be made only within the specified registration stages. However, candidates have to register by paying a penalty over the normal exam fee if they do not register in the first phase. Know about the process to apply online here.
How to apply
Candidates who must be members of the IIBF having their membership number and password to apply. Furthermore, applications are only allowed within the specified dates. Follow the simple steps below to apply for JAIIB 2021 exam.
#1: Go to the website of IIBF at iibf.org.in
#2: Go to “Apply online” and select “Exam (Members)
#3: Select the exam and log in with the membership credentials.
#4: Complete the online application form and click on “accept and submit” to proceed to make payment.
#5: Select appropriate payment method and make the payment of exam fee (including penalty if applicable)
#6: Get transaction details and confirmation through SMS at the registered mobile number on successful registration.

Penalty for late registration
The registration process for the JAIIB exam is conducted in three phases. Candidates must register in the first phase to avoid paying late fees in the subsequent registration phases. Check out the penalty fees for each phase below.

JAIIB 2021 Admit Card
The IIBF send the admit cards for the exam directly to the candidates. JAIIB 2021 Admit card is sent through registered mail of the candidate. However, the institute also publishes the admit card on the website before the exam. Candidates can download the same by logging in with the membership number and profile password.
It must be noted that the exam centre and time slot once selected during the application process cannot be edited later. It is also mentioned in the admit card. The printed admit card must be carried to the exam centre along with a photo identity card. Candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam without these two documents.
JAIIB 2021 Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates must secure the minimum marks specified by the IIBF to qualify through the exam. Besides securing the aggregate of 50% marks in the three papers, candidates must also secure 45% marks in individual subjects.
JAIIB 2021 Results
The final results of the exam are published by the IIBF on the official website after the exam. Along with the result, the consolidated mark sheet is also published by the Institute. Candidates can download the same by entering the membership number and password.
JAIIB 2021 Number of Attempts
Once registered candidates must pass the exam within 02 years i.e. 04 attempts. Otherwise, they have to re-enrol themselves to appear in the exam again. Attempts are counted within the period of two years even if the candidate does not attend the exam.
JAIIB 2021 Class of Pass Criteria
Candidates are awarded Pass Class based on their performance in the exam. However, the pass class is awarded as per the number of the attempt taken by the candidate at the exam. In this context, the institute considers the first attempt only when the candidate has not attempted any subject in the parts. However, candidates who qualify after exhausting all attempts and re-enrolling are not awarded a class of pass. The criteria for the class of pass is given below.
First-class: Awarded to those who secure 60% marks in aggregate and pass in all subjects in the first attempt
First-class with distinction: Awarded to those who secure 70% marks in aggregate and 60% in each subject in the first attempt.
