KTET Exam Pattern 2022: Kerala State Education Board (KSEB) conducts KTET exam in four categories, Paper I for aspirants those who want to apply for a teacher post for standard I to V. Paper II for aspirants who want to apply for teacher’s position for standard VI to VIII, Paper III is for teachers who want to teach high school classes IX to XII. Paper IV is for language teachers. KTET Exam Pattern 2022
All questions in KTET will be Multiple Choice based (MCQs), with four alternatives given. The candidates need to mark out one correct/most appropriate option in the provided OMR sheet. Each question asked carries one mark and there is no negative marking.

KTET Exam Details
Aspiring candidates who want to be a teacher for all levels I-X must give and pass in all the three papers. Candidates who want to be eligible for a language teacher post must give the Paper IV.
Paper I focuses on educational psychology of teaching and learning relative to the age-group of
6-11 years. The test for Language I (Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada) is conducted to focus on proficiencies related to the Language of teaching. The Language II (English) section focuses on language, communication and comprehension skills. Mathematics and Environmental Studies questions focus on the concepts and problem-solving abilities.
Paper II focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning related to the age group of 11-14 years. Mathematics questions & Science/ Social Studies focus on the concepts, problem-solving abilities and understanding of the subjects. Questions asked are in accordance with different divisions of the syllabus prescribed for classes VI to VIII by the Kerala Board.
Paper III focuses on the Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning and Teaching Aptitude of adults. Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada questions are asked in the language section to check the proficiencies, language and vocabulary. The Subject-specific sections questions focus on the Content & Pedagogy of that subject.
Paper IV focuses on Child Development, Pedagogies and test aptitude for teachers.Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada questions are asked in the language section to check the proficiencies, language and vocabulary. The Subject-specific sections questions focus on the Content & Pedagogies related to that specific subject.

About KTET
KTET is organised every year by KSEB and aspirants who want to pursue their career in the field of teaching in the state of Punjab apply for it. Four different papers are conducted in the KTET examination process, paper I is for recruitment of teachers of standard I -V (primary section) , Paper II for recruitment of standard VI to VIII (upper-primary section), Paper III for recruitment of standard IX to XII (secondary section) and Paper IV for recruitment of Language teacher in Government schools across the state of Kerala.
