Qualifying Exam – Candidates who want to get recruited for the post of the assistant manager (Civil) must hold a graduation degree in B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from any government University or Institute.

Age Relaxation
LMRC also has given the relaxation in age limit for some categories, candidates can look at the age relaxations below:

Who are Ex-Servicemen?
Ex-Servicemen are those who have served in any rank whether as a combatant or non-combatant in the Regular Army, Navy and Air Force.

LMRC Recruitment 2019-2020 Application Fee
Along with filling the application form candidates are required to pay an amount as the application fee. This fee is to be paid mandatorily by the candidate. Non-payment of the LMRC Recruitment 2019 application fee will mark the candidate ineligible for further rounds in the recruitment process. The application fee is different for reserved and unreserved candidates. The LMRC Recruitment application fee is provided as below.
- For Unreserved and OBC candidates – Rs. 590 (inclusive of 18% GST) + bank charges
- For SC / ST candidates – Rs. 236 (inclusive of 18% GST) + bank charges
Mode of Payment – Online as well offline
The application fee is non refundable in nature, hence, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the post they are applying for before payment of the application fee.
LMRC Recruitment 2019-2020 Admit Card
LMRC will issue the admit card to all the candidates who have filled the application form before the last date for the same. The admit card contains all the necessary details such as test centre address, name of the post applied for, date of the exam and more. As the admit card is used for the verification of the candidate at the exam centre, the details in the same needs to be correct in all respects. Candidates need to check and verify all the details in the admit card. Any kind of error or discrepancy is to be reported to the exam conducting authority.

LMRC Recruitment 2019-2020 Exam Pattern
The selection process in the LMRC recruitment includes a test as the initial round. Candidates applying for the LMRC recruitment need to appear for the exam as the first stage. Candidates can check the test pattern for this first round of the selection process below.

The written exam is conducted as one of the stages of selection process. Candidates need to prepare well for the examination in order to get eligible for the next round in the recruitment process. LMRC Recruitment 2019-2020 Result
After the exam has been conducted UPMRCL will release the result for the written exam. Candidates passing the exam will be eligible for the next round in the selection process. As the result will be released on the official website, the candidates need to stay updated with the official website of UPMRCL (upmetrorail.com). Candidates whose name are placed in the merit list are provisionally selected, subject to eligibility and other verifications by the LMRC.
Medical Examination
Candidates clearing the written test will have to undergo the medical fitness test as per the standars of Indian Railway Medical Manual. Candidates clearing the medical fitness will get their name included in the merit list uploaded on the official website of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation. However, mere getting the name included in the merit list will not ensure the appointment of the candidate. The appointment is further subjected to sustaining the eligibility criteria.
LMRC Recruitment 2019-2020 Selection Process
The candidates need to clear all the rounds of the selection process. LMRC has laid down certain rounds in the selection process under the LMRC recruitment. The selection is based on written test after the candidate has to pass the medical fitness test which is different for all the posts. Also, the biometric data of the candidate is captured at the time of the written test this data is verified at the time of verification after clearing the medical fitness. recruitment of the candidate is subject to disqualification if the biometrics does not match in any stage of the selection process.
Training Cost, Probation Period & Surety Bond
After the selection in the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation the selected candidates have to bear a cost for the training as well. The training cost for executive and non executive posts are different. Candidates can look the image below and get aware of the tarining costs for all the posts.

Candidates need to pay an amount as the surety bond for the post they are selected in. The amount of surety bond is forfieted if the candidate fails to complete the minimum period of three years. Candidates need to execute the bond of following amount for the executive and non executive posts.
- Executive posts – Rs. 3,00,000 plus GST
- Non-executive posts – Rs. 1,50,000 plus GST
After the appointment, the selected candidates are kept in a probabtionary period of 2 years (including the training period) Initially the selection of the candidates will be for a minimum of 3 years after which they shall be recruited on a regular basis based on their performance and need.
Details regarding the Notice Period
If in case the candidate decides to resign from the post, the notice period of three months or leave salary in lieu of short notice period plus GST will be required to be paid by the candidate before the resignation from the corporation. Non completion of the notice period will lead to the loss of the surety amount that the candidate had paid at the time of recruitment process.
