Vacancy Details
- Name of Post: Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Medical
- Eligibility Criteria: Citizen of India, MBBS / MD / MS or PG-Medical Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC / ST candidates) or equivalent and between 21 years – 30 years
- Emoluments & Benefits: Basic pay of Rs. 32,795/- in the scale of Rs. 32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315 and other admissible allowance as applicable
- Probation: One year from the date of joining the Company which may be extended twice by a further period of six months at a time stretching up to one year.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: — ((a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification for Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Medical
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of M.B.B.S / M.D. / M.S. or PG-Medical Degree from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree (at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates); or equivalent foreign degrees which are recognized as such by the Medical council of India with the prescribed benchmark. Furthermore, the candidate must be holding a valid registration from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council. Please note that Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani etc. are not valid disciplines for this post.
Age Limit
A candidate must be of the Minimum Age of 21 years and the Maximum Age of 30 years as on 01.01.2018, i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1988 and not later than 01st January 1997.
Relaxation in upper age limit shall be as follows:

Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted are subsequently being called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at selected centers. The weight-age (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.
Identity Verification
At the time of interview, the call letter along with the original and a photocopy of the candidate currently valid photo identity should be submitted and the original shall be produced for verification. The candidates’ identity will be verified with respect to his / her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted.
List of Documents to be produced at the time of interview (as applicable)
The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies in support of the candidate‟s eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of interview failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview. Non-submission of requisite documents by the candidate at the time of interview will debar his candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.

- Proof of Date of Birth
- Photo Identify Proof
- Mark-sheets & certificates for Std X, XII, MBBS, MD / MS Degree or equivalent qualification and valid registration Certificate from MCI or any State Medical Council.
- Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, certificate regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored.
- Caste Certificate in respect of SC / ST / OBC candidates
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- For Ex-serviceman – Copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment.
- NOC for candidates serving in Government.
- Persons eligible for age relaxation must produce the domicile certificate.

Selection Procedure
The adequate number of candidates as decided by the Company will be shortlisted based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability for Interview. The qualifying marks for Interview will be as decided by the Company. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. Interview(s) will be held at Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad. Candidates are required to indicate their preferred interview center at the time of on-line application. Call letters for interview will be sent to candidate’s registered e-mail id.
Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro AC second class rail fare / bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose.
Guarantee Bond
Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates for appointment on regular pay rolls of the Company will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Company for a minimum period of four years including probationary period. In the event of their resigning from the Company before the expiry of the bond period, they will be liable to pay liquidated damages equivalent to one year gross salary paid to them during the year of probation which could be proportionately reduced depending upon the length of service rendered.Besides, he/she will have to submit a stamped Bond duly executed by two sureties of sound financial standing (not blood relatives), for an amount equivalent to one years gross salary.
Candidates resigning from the Company during the probationary period and candidates whose services are terminated by the Company during the probation period shall be liable to pay the salary received by them during their entire service in the Company. No lien / bond executed to retain a substantive post with present employer will be binding upon the Company and no Leave Salary or Pension Contribution will be made.
