NIACL Eligibility Criteria

  • Citizen of India
  • For Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Medical – MBBS / MD / MS or PG-Medical Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC / ST candidates) or equivalent.
  • For Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Generalists – graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government.
  • A candidate must be of between 21 years – 30 years old.

Emoluments & Benefits: Basic pay of Rs. 32,795/- in the scale of Rs. 32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315 and other admissible allowance as applicable. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.51,000/- p.m. Other benefits such as coverage under National Pension System governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. shall be as per rules.

Probation: One year from the date of joining the Company which may be extended twice by a further period of six months at a time stretching up to one year.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: — (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee, or (e) a person of Indian n origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification for Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Medical: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of MBBS / MD / MS or PG-Medical Degree with at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree (at least 45% marks for SC/ST candidates); or equivalent foreign degrees which are recognized as such by the Medical council of India with the prescribed benchmark.

Furthermore, the candidate must be holding a valid registration from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.

Educational Qualification for Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Generalists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates

Age: A candidate must be of the Minimum Age of 21 years and the Maximum Age of 30 years as on 01.08.2016.

Selection Procedure for Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Medical

Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Company will be shortlisted based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability for Interview. The qualifying marks for Interview will be as decided by the Company.

Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only.

Interview

Interviews will be held at Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad. Candidates are required to indicate their preferred interview centre at the time of on-line application.

Call letters for interview will be sent to candidate‟s registered e-mail id.

Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro AC second class rail fare / bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose.

List of Documents to be produced at the time of interview (as applicable)

The following documents in original and self attested photocopies in support of the candidate‟s eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of interview failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview. Non submission of requisite documents by the candidate at the time of interview will debar his candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.

  • Printout of the online application form registered.
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • Photo Identify Proof
  • Mark-sheets & certificates for Std X, XII, MBBS, MD / MS Degree or equivalent qualification and valid registration Certificate from MCI or any State Medical Council.
  • Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, certificate regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored.
  • Caste Certificate in respect of SC / ST / OBC candidates
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • For Ex-serviceman – Copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment.
  • NOC for candidates serving in Government.
  • Persons eligible for age relaxation must produce the domicile certificate.
  • Experience certificates, if any
  • Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility.

Identity Verification

At the time of interview, the call letter along with the original and a photocopy of the candidate currently valid photo identity should be submitted and the original shall be produced for verification. The candidates identity will be verified with respect to his / her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted.

There are three stages of selection involved

  3. Interview

Candidates have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination

Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.

Guarantee Bond

Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates for appointment on regular pay rolls of the Company will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Company for a minimum period of four years including probationary period. In the event of their resigning from the Company before the expiry of the bond period, they will be liable to pay liquidated damages equivalent to one year gross salary paid to them during the year of probation which could be proportionately reduced depending upon the length of service rendered.

Besides, he/she will have to submit a stamped Bond duly executed by two sureties of sound financial standing (not blood relatives), for an amount equivalent to one years gross salary.

Candidates resigning from the Company during the probationary period and candidates whose services are terminated by the Company during the probation period shall be liable to pay the salary received by them during their entire service in the Company. No lien / bond executed to retain a substantive post with present employer will be binding upon the Company and no Leave Salary or Pension Contribution will be made.
